Wolverine, with Jubilee (not in the poll) a close second. She's good for him, if a bit on the young side (though when the guy may be close to a hundred, any girl could be considered too young for him).
Hank "Beast" McCoy is also high on my list, despite the way the Evolution writers handle him (he's drawn rather heavy and out-of-shape looking, and the aforementioned Hulklike tantrums unnerve me).

Wolverine. Not because he's well 'ard, or the like, but simply that he makes for a good story. There is still enough enigmatic background to make him interesting and his character interaction makes him a worth addition as a group member.

    However, others must be mentioned.

Angel - when he was truely the big nasty Blue boy was fun.

As was Cable - prior to leaving X-Factor and entering his disappointing solo title...

Captain Britian. Okay, Excalibur - it was an X-book (and if he was truely an X-Man he would have had my top vote!)

Rogue - Prior to the Gambit affair. She was better as a solo character with no love interest to weaken her character (IMO).

Well, among the survey choices, Storm, but my real favorite has long been Kitty Pryde (before X-Men: Evolution sullied her reputation). She was a character I could both admire & relate to when I was younger, so she'll always be my sentimental favorite.

Jubilee (other). She was my favorite character in X-Men: TAS, which got me hooked on X-Men in the first place. She was a fun, young character that I thought brought a lot of life to the team (and to Wolverine). I was disappointed that they used Rogue as Wolvie's young gal pal instead of Jubes...but she did get a cameo (with Shadowcat! ) which I got a kick out of, since I didn't expect it. However, I hate, hate, HATE what they've done to Jubes in Evolution. They made her look like Lucy Liu! Heads WILL roll for this...

Cyclops is my favorite X-men, I like'em all, but Cyclops is just awesome, IMO. Granted he's not all that powerful, but hey, he looks awesome in that visor, plus he's just more down-to-Earth than alot of'em and doesn't really "flaunt" his powers, I guess that's a good word to describe it.

Wolverine is my favorite X-Man. Origin has really enhanced his character and made the present day version a bit more interesting. I like knowing thje back story on these characters anmd Wolverine is no exception. In second is Cyclops...boy scout all the way.

Wolverine - for the longest time he was my favorite character all together (I even have his first appearance in Hulk #181, first print) and just represented a hero that knew what the right thing to do was but had his own inner demons to deal with. My second favorite X-man would probably have to be either Havok, Joseph or Maggott.

Havok had zero tolerance for anything and was virtually the anti-Cyclops. Intriguing character.

Joseph because I've always been a huge fan of Magneto and loved the de-aged (later revealed as a clone) Magnus trying to attone for his past sins even though he didn't remember any of them.

Maggott - all I can say is that the character was awesome, I mean he even scarred away the Jugernaut! Extremely underrated and had a lot of potential.

    -Joe!

    ICEMAN!!

He's my favorite. His powers have so many possibilities. They're also very visual, which makes for great illustration. He's an original X-Man and thus has had a great chance for growth and evolution.

    He's just so cool.
