''Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Heroes'' coming to Nicktoons Fall 2009

Now in addition to airing the new Marvel shows, they're picking up old ones as well. It also says that Nicktoons Network will be showing new episodes that CN never aired.

It could be interesting if F4:WGH will get some good ratings, if Nicktoons might request for all-new episodes?

And could we imagine more older Marvel series coming to Nick, however since Disney currently own the rights of the 1967 Spider-man, 1990s X-Men, Spidey and his amazing friends, 1966 Marvel Super-heroes it's doubtful.

    Thumbs up

I have Nicktoons Network, so this is good news to my ears.

I'm especially jazzed that NN will air the 8 episodes of FF:WGH that never aired on Cartoon Network.

Even though the article doesn't say, promos are running on Nicktoons saying that it's coming in October.

It's great that Nicktoons Network airing it.
It suck that I won't have Nicktoons Network when it comes on in October.

Nope. Cartoon Network (CN U.S., anyway) aired all of the FF: WGH episodes except for:

    • The Cure
    • Frightful
    • Out of Time
    • Shell Games
    • Johnny Storm and the Potion of Fire
    • Contest of Champions
    • Doom's Word is Law
    • Scavenger Hunt

Boomerang didn't air these episodes either. Boom doesn't air anything that hasn't already aired on Cartoon Network.

Your Cable/Satellite provider is dropping it?

While I am glad for NickToons, since XD is getting all the good stuff, I wouldn't call this great news since the whole show is on DVD.

Wow its almost like NickToons is showing all the more recent Marvel stuff now except for Evolution.

Does this bode well for the Thor and Avengers shows being on Nicktoons as well?

I think it will be a nice fit for NickToons Network

Probably a better fit than Boomerang, or even CN

Interesting. I'm happy for FF fans cause this show got the shaft on CN and more people get Nicktoons than Boomerang I believe. Though didn't CN fund the production? I'm surprsied they don't retain the rights forever but it's just as well... they weren't going to do anything with it.

Now it's almost a pitty X-Men Evolution and Spectacular Spider-Man ended up on XD but then again more people get XD than Nicktoons I think.

Hey, I think it's great news, because I've never seen the show and was recently debating whether to buy it or not on DVD -- but now I can wait for it to air before deciding if it's worthy enough to own.

Yeah, but it's the same thing with X-Men: Evolution, which was distributed by Warner Brothers (who actually own CN) and don't even want to put out season 4 on dvd. I believe it all comes down to Warner not wanting to invest anything more with properties they don't own (such as Marvel properties), so they can better focus on their own properties (such as DC properties). So now Marvel stuff is being split between the Disney XD and Nicktoons networks.

This is great news for me. I tried watching it on Boomerang, but it was always on at a lousy time for me (the seemingly randomly-inserted promo breaks wasn't very endearing to me either). At least on Nicktoons, I'm sure it'll be repeated enough times where I can't possibly miss an episode...

Actually, you are missing three episodes: Doomsday Plus One, Out of Time and Molehattan. And after doing some research, according to this thread, boomerang did show Atlantis Attacks.

Look again. "Out of Time" is listed there, and I never said that Boomerang didn't show "Atlantis Attacks".

I did, however, forget to list "Molehattan" and "Doomsday Plus One". My bad.

So the show might finally get a full TV airing in America, it's about time, really.

Disney XD and nicktoons Network are really going after Marvel Shows. It makes you wonder where the new Avengers and Thor series (Both are still in the works right) will end up.

For that matter would the channels be interested in airing the Marvel DTVs? Na they would probably been too much editing for ether XD or Nicktoons.

Still Marvel probably likes being wanted even if it's by two relitively new channels with little to lose.

Fall is when I'm in college and I don't have extended cable in the dorms.

Of course, the show and the network will still be there, when I have a chance to see it again.

Wow, nice save Nicktoons. Hopefully they will air the series in order too, but that may be hoping for too much since it is Nick after all.
