So far, the covers for volume two and three both look great!

Still waiting for a review on both volumes.

Why do these say Volume 2 and 3 on the covers when Volume 1 said Attack of the Lizard? Plus I thought they were making them uncut and in movie form, so why do these discs have individual episodes listed? Why not just do a complete season set?

They aren't doing the uncut movie format anymore and just having the broadcast episodes on them. Individual releases are for the little kids while season sets are usually for old folks like myself.

That makes no sense, why did they bother doing it for the first one? Did they realize there was nothing to make it uncut?

True, but it doesn't hurt to also support the show by buying the Volume DVDs.

That's what I'm wondering. The first one was in movie format, and there were some added scenes. I don't know why Sony gave up on the idea of a movie format.

So that means volumes two, three, and so forth will have no extra scenes and will be the exact same as the broadcast version.

There may still be restored gun sound effects, though. We won't know for sure until we see if they're restored in volume 4 for episodes 11 and 12.

My guess is that they just weren't happy with the way it had turned out on the first DVD and figured it wasn't worth the time and effort to add in a few scenes and try to edit into these "movies"

Ah I knew I forgot to add something. Yes buying the 3 episode discs also shows that making a season set is worth investing in.

Yea, but I want to be able to support my family too...Volumes are waste of money...especially with only three stinking episodes.

    agreed

100%! If one was to buy all first season DVDs it would run 60 to 80 bucks! (depending where you went) What are they the BBC all of a sudden? I would love to support the show but in the form of a reasonably priced season one box set. Any news on that? Or someone we can ask?

Season one set is due in the summer according to Greg Weisman.
