    Close, but not quite.

John Vernon played General Thunderbolt Ross in the recent UPN Incredible Huk series (which should have lasted longer). While he did do voice work on the old 1960's Hulk series, it was not Thunderbolt Ross, but Major Talbott!
Not only that, but he voiced Rupert Thorne in Batman: The Animated Series, Dr. Strange in Spider-Man: TAS. He also voiced Tony Stark in the old 1960's Iron Man series, and voiced Sub-Mariner in the old 1960's animated series as well.

And to top it off, he was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada!

And I assume yer Canadian as well, and are referring to The Hulk airing on Teletoon Retro. Pretty cool, eh?

Check my location - I'm also a fellow Canuck!

I did some research becuase your question just got me thinking. I always remembered there being connection between the original and newest animated Hulk show. When you asked the question it triggered my memory and I did a bit of research. And that's what I came up with.

I am really enjoy TELETOON RETRO but I hope they bring in some other old Marvel shows like Captain America or Iron Man. Haven't seen those in years!

Correct me if I wrong, there have been some other past appearances in the 90's cartoon. Aside from the obvious big growly boy Lou Ferrigno from the live action TV series, didn't the VA for Banner in the 80's version make an appearance too?

John Vernon was also in "Killer Klowns From Outer Space". I belive he played Sgt. Curtis Mooney.
