Is this going to be for the original X-men or Evolution?

Everything that I have seen says it is Evolution?

Cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool! While I enjoyed FF and IM (by the way, Jim, you misspelled Iron Man in the news post ) a good deal, I found X-Men & Spidey (the regular, not Unlimited) to be much more consistent with quality.

Although, if it turns out to be Unlimited, I'd much rather prefer the Marvel Action Hour any day.

It's very doubtful that they'd show Evolution, since WB owns the rights to that and is still showing new episodes. And all I've heard was that it was X-Men:tAS.

It's X-Men: TAS. When the released the press release with images, it was images from the original X:TAS series.

well, the good news is X-Men and Spider-Man are back on the air. And we get two episodes of both! The bad new's, is we don't get Fantastic Four and Iron Man. This Stink's, like the Captain America Movie! Or even worse, the Avenger's toon!

Can anyone find an explaantion for changing this? It makes no sense...the only possible explanation is that they realized how long it owuld take them to get through those show's one episode a week, and decided to go through X-Men, and Spider-Man than switch over to F4, and Iron Man. If this isn't the reaosn, than somebody has an awful lot of explaining to do.

This is awesome! Can't wait to tape the episodes. And, not to mention ABC Family is added Power Rangers also (Mighty Morphin, ZEO, Turbo, In Space, and Time Force). I need a ton of blank tapes. Guess it was a good thing that Disney bought out all the Saban properties.

Since Disney owns all of the old Saban cartoons is there any chance they might appear on Toon Disney?

Argh, how dare they force me to wake up at 6 for 2 hours of animated bliss. Looks like now I'll have to spend my Friday nights sleeping. Or staying up and going to bed at 8.

    Good

X-men and Spiderman were excellent shows. FF and Iron Man were below average at best. FF had an occasion decent episodes.

Seriously, I'm not happy. Why would ABC Family step in in the middle of a certain countdown and burst our bubble by sending such gold I grew up watching down the drain.

(Disclaimer: I did watch these shows in their original Fox and Syndicated runs. BTW, I do not know if they will air after all quite yet, so I am mad at this situation.)
I think Scooby-Doo is knida over-rated and all of the HB Dogs should be praised.
Wouldn't it be great if their could be more Peanuts specials on DVD?

Looks like I've got an incentive for getting up early. Most likely, I'll be too lasy to get up and will tape it instead.

Hmmm....I don't know whether to be happy with this news or not. I always loved the X-Men and Spider-Man toons (even Unlimited) but was also hoping to finally get to see the Iron Man and Fantastic Four eps I hadn't seen, seeing as how I didn't get them in syndication while they were airing. On another note, it looks like ABC Family will have Spidey and X-men every week day starting at 7 along with a full hour of Digimon (why can't this show be hidden and never be seen again?!).

    Aw, fignuts!

As much as I love X-Men: TAS (Phoenix Saga! Phoenix Saga! WOO!), I was looking forward to seeing Fantastic Four again. Maybe they'll find room for it eventually.

Ooh, i hope it's the early 90s Fox Spiderman series and not the Unlimited series. Did that one even last long enough to get on syndication?

Nope - thanks to the wonderful series that is Digimon (grumble, *#*@!). Mela (I see you changed your name ) it looks like our liking of the same shows seems to continue - I was really hoping to see the Fantastic Four eps also, the Inhumans saga was especially good (the couple eps I saw that is).

I thought the first season's of both FF and iron man were terible, but the second season of these two shows were a lot better then both spider man and x-men TAS. I will go so far as to say that along with x-men evolution, the FF and iron man as well as pryde of the x-men are the best marvel cartoons.

The first seasons were indeed horrible, but their second season, speficially IRON MAN's, was amazing, very well done. I can assure you that we'll see this show on ABC Family, but just not right away. X-Men and Spider-Man are incredibly hot right now, so they are likely plugging what's popular.
