    Meet the Mole Man...

    Episode #13: Molehatten
Original Premiere: June 10th, 2008 (DVD Release)

Ben is abducted by the Mole Man – along with half of New York City! The Mole Man tries to convince Ben to join him in creating an underground paradise, a place where no one is judged by their appearance. But when the Baxter Building is pulled underground as well, the rest of the FF must fight off the Mole Man’s Moloids, protect their troublesome neighbors, and figure out how to get the city back above ground while Ben makes his choice: live underground as a king, or protect a world that considers him a monster.

^ They also cut out the "Co-produced by Cartoon Network" credit.

Well this is a pretty boring episode. I was hoping this preview episode of the show would have a cool bad guy that people will want to remember. Mole Man wasn't that cool bad guy...

He usually isn't. He's just an ugly hermit that wants revenge on the surface world. This show really plays him for the joke that he is.

I like the episode but the underground world really didn't have anything to offer Ben to make the temptation actually tempting.

I thought this was a much better introduction for the series than the series opener Cartoon Network chose for the show, "Trial By Fire", which was among the many bad decisions CN made for the show.

I thought this episode had some of the series A grade animation and since Mole Man is one of FF's classic villains I thought this was a very good choice on Nicktoon Network's part. They also very smarty put a little icon reminder in the corner of the screen to remind viewers what they're watching.
