The first four eps from season 2 are on the "Mutants Rising" DVD, released earlier this year.

So far, nothing about the rest of season 2 (13 more eps), or seasons 3 (13 eps)and 4 (9 eps), have been mentioned yet.

Should be a lock, since Evo's been #2/#3 out of all Saturday Morning toons ever since it came back. Hopefully KWB! will be pleased by this and renew it as well.

    Television Blows. So enjoy it.

Is there really a difference between the shrink wrapped set and individual volumes? If not, then this talkback can work for both.

Edited the Title. Feel free to bump the talkback threads in the Talkback Thread Collection. And, being that I forgot to put the rest up, start your own for ones that aren't there already.

I have been searching all over for these DVD's. I finally found one at a Walmart in the for-sale bin. (and I didn't even get it on sale!) I can't believe how new these are, and how poor it gets treated. Anyway, I got the Xposing the truth one. It's pretty good from what I've seen so far. It's pretty much like the Mutant rising one. I was glad to see all the openings since CN was cutting them out. I was delighted to find that the extras had a section on the voice actors though Kirby Morrows, Venus Terzo, and Brad Swaile were missing. Megan Black looks almost exactly like Rogue! She could pull her off in a live action X-Evo movie. The only other extra was a trailor for all the dvd's. All the eps had intros by Boyd K. but I haven't seen them yet.
I also want the 3rd one, but I haven't found it yet.
Do the first 2 have extras too?

I've had these DVD's since they hit shelves on the 23rd, and finally just got around to checking out the special features.

My thoughts on the special features:
    The Evolution of the X-Men:
All pretty well and cool, but the thing that stood out the most to me would be the picture with all of the X-Men, and their names displayed under them would have to be Spyke. His codename looked like it was to originally be Armadillo.
    [ODD]
Besides that, it was all pretty decent.

    Episode Introductions:
Not a whole lot that stood out there, except for Strategy X and Grim Reminder. In Strategy X, Boyd said Scott was to portrayed as the quiet guy, and a loner. It doesn't look as if it ended up that way. Actually I lied, Strategy X is the only thing that had something stand out that is really big.

Those are actually the only big things that I noticed, and on the Xplosive Days dvd, I liked the kind of helpful hints on storytelling/script writing.

Scott McNiel and the VA of Toad made me laugh LOTS. I also got some good laughs out ofthe other VA's, but not as much as Scott.

Then there was something that I noticed in the episode The X Impulse. Doesn't it kind of look like Kitty's mom took on the look of comicverse Kitty?

I'm glad that I got these dvd's, cause when XM:E started airing on Kids WB, I didn't get to see the first 2.5 seasons until CN. I finally got to see all of the cut stuff when it started airing on CN.

I really wish they would divide these episodes into more chapters. I have serious fast forward/rewind problems.

How are these DVDs in comparison to the Marvel cartoon DVDs that Disney releases?

Good question, Spidey. How are the extras? The description provided is pretty good, but I'd like to know a bit more about them. I can't find reviews for these DVDs anywhere online.

A lot of people seem to be having the same problem, Detective. WB hasn't done a good job marketing these, and its showing. I've also been unable to find reviews online Cyclops.

And it really ticks me off. I'd shell over the money in a minute if I could actually find the pack. All WB is doing is cheating themselves out of money, and fans out of a chance to actually find the thing.

Heck, SUNCOAST didn't even have the thing. And we're talking about SUNCOAST here.

I got my 4 pack from Amazon some weeks ago. Finally got around to watching it.

I have to say I'm pretty disappointed in the video quality. It looks great the majority of the time, but many scenes throughout the episodes are very fuzzy, looking worse than VHS. This problem is made worse when the rest of the video is so sharp and crisp. There are also some scenes that are heavily pixellated, as if the resolution was suddenly cut in half. This problem is much less frequent though.

I viewed with a Denon 1600 DVD player and a Sony 43" HDTV. Results were similar when playing back on my PC.

You guys will NOT find the shrinkwrapping ANYWHERE. Both of my local Fred Meyer, my local Best Buy, Walmart, Circuit City, Sam Goody, Suncoast, and Target only have singles, and they should only be $10 a piece. So if you buy them individually you save 10-12 dollars.

Superior, IMO, because WB's been keeping the episodes in order, unlike Disney's "best of" releases.

just scored all 4 from Best Buy ($9.99 each)

i liked the episode intros as well as the extras that came with (unmasking the x-men, evolution, artwork, etc...)

i'm gonna pick up Mutants Rising next week, as well as all the Justice League dvds (since CN is going fullscreen now...bastitches )

hopefully, Season 2 and 3 will follow shortly. Can't wait to bring home Mindbender, Operation: rebirth, On Angel's Wings, HeX Factor, Day of Reckoning, Day of Recovery, The Stuff of Heroes, Self Possessed, Under Lock & Key, and of course...Dark Horizon. Perhaps by the time X3 hits theaters, all 4 seasons will be on home video.
