Episode #72 - The Fifth Horseman
Original Airdate - February 8, 1997
Apocalypse tasks Fabian Cortez with finding him a host body in order to escape the astral plane. Appearing at the wrong place at the wrong time, Jubilee is kidnapped by Fabian Cortez and is taken to the temple for the ceremony. But things don't go as planned when a very angry Beast catches up with the villain.
Just wondering, but did David Kaye do Apocalypse's voice in this episode, or was it James Blendick as usual? Becuase the TVtome entry says that it was David Kaye.
If so, then their choice for him to be the A-man in Evo makes more sense.
Aside from that, I like the somewhat older Jubilee design they showed in this episode, the semi-reference to Dark Beast, and the return of Apocalypse/death of Cortez (Two birds with one stone!)
Apocalypse put his backup plan into motion and tells Fabian Cortez to find him an new body.

Batman: I suppose it's useless to tell you to leave.
Superman: I wouldn't miss this for anything.
Batman: Your funeral.
Superman: Already had one.
Funny, Cortez got exactly what he was promised: He "became" the strongest mutant...
