I've just recieved an email with the following announcment

Please find below some changes to ABC Family's schedule for the coming weeks.

Saturday, April 3
Delete 10:30 a.m. Spider Man: Unlimited - "Steel Cold Heart"
Add 10:30 a.m. Spider-Friends - "Sunfire" SPF

Saturday, April 10
Delete 10:30 a.m. Spider Man: Unlimited - "Enter the Hunter"
Add 10:30 a.m. Spider-Friends - "Spidey Goes to Hollywood"

Sunday, April 11
Delete 10:30 a.m. Spider Man: Unlimited - "Cry Vulture" SPR
Add 10:30 a.m. Spider-Friends - "Pawns of the Kingpin"

Saturday, April 17
Delete 10:30 a.m. Spider Man: Unlimited - "Ill Met By Moonlight"
Add 10:30 a.m. Spider-Friends- "Swarm"

Sunday, April 18
Delete 10:30 a.m. Spider Man: Unlimited - "Sustenance"
Add 10:30 a.m. Spider-Friends- "Where Evil Lives"

So, Unlimited is off thier schedule for the next few weeks.

Well, at the rate we're going, we'll have talkbacks up for all of the Spider Friends episodes!

However, I'm not too pleased with them booting Unlimited off the schedule for the next few weeks. As I've said before, I think that it would be great to see them air Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends on Saturdays, and Spider-Man Unlimited on Sundays (or vice-versa), after Spider-Man: TAS. I think it would be a good crowd pleaser, as we'd be getting three Spider toons instead of just two. Does anyone else think something like that would work?

I wonder if they are holding off on the Spider-Man Unlimited series until Spider-Man 2 hits. I do want them to bring it back. Even if the show is poorly edited, it would be nice to see it back.

The emails I recieved indicate that it's not a permanent change, otherwise they would more or less say that. The full schedules we recieve show Unlimited is supposed to air. They seem to change thier minds on Thursdays, this is the 2nd week running that Amazing Friends have replaced it.

I'd like to see Unlimited return eventually, we have a site in the works based on the show.

I like the Friends on one day, Unlimited on the other approach to the 10:30 slot as well. Heck, there are only 13 eps of Unlimited to begin with, it won't take that long to run through them. Why stop at 2? At 2 per week (and alloting for one Digithon and one Dinothon), they would have been done on the first weekend in May.

Now I'm wondering if we'll get the third annual Spidey-Mania on Memorial Day Weekend and maybe an ep or two from the 1960s original series. But if we do, it'll likely be the same old "Power of Doc Oc"/"Sub-Zero for Spidey" they've run the first two years.
