Probably not. The Japanese broadcasts were 4:3, and they are early-mid 00s shows.

I can't wait for Transformers Cybertron to get a release. It was the only part of the Unicron Trilogy I liked. I can also recommend this to my friend who likes mecha/robot anime.

Armada comes out in March and Energon in May. Maybe Cybertron will be out in July.

It's Animated that's the big question. When will it come out, will it be in widescreen this time, and will they actually finish it.
Not it will most likely do any good, but I encourage any interested parties to sign this petition.

I will happily buy ALL of Animated when it's released. Hopefully it's a re-release of the whole show. Because trying to buy Season 2 from anywhere is near impossible. Either no one has it in stock, even pre-owned DVD outlets. Or it's SUPER expensive!
And I will also happily buy Armada as soon as I get the chance. Energon and Cybertron shall get none of my money.
But, yeah, super happy to get Animated and Armada on DVD.
I've already got G1 season 1, the original animated movie, and Beast Wars, and Prime.
With the purchase of Animated and Armada, I'll finally own all the TF I care about.

I wonder where the rights for Beast Machines are now? It's the one series that's MIA at this point, isn't it?

That, and Robots in Disguise. Well, and some various Japan-only series.

I hope that Shout! brings them over eventually. After they got the G1 trilogy, I'm holding out hope. They still need to get Zone, though
