    Like This Thread!

Yeah, I love Shout! They go above and beyond the call of duty (especially with those Japanese G1 series. Seriously, no one EVER thought they'd come over here)!

Amazing price, AND (most importantly) it's in widescreen!

Shout Factory continues to prove why they're one of the best companies for DVD releases.

Hopefully they'll be able to survive the ever-collapsing market.
Not it will most likely do any good, but I encourage any interested parties to sign this petition.

    Say what?

Man, don't bring the thread down now. I'm all happy and stuff that Animated is finally getting finished, and that there will even be a complete series set, so that way I can shorten my personal VHS recording stash some more.

Shout! Factory now has an entry for Transformers Energon - The Complete Series on its site, with cover art. They're also doing volumes for these shows, so there's a volume 1 for Energon and Armada.

Transformers Energon: The Complete Series | Shout!Factory
    Transformers Energon, Vol. 1 | Shout!Factory
    Transformers Armada: Vol. 1 | Shout!Factory

I wonder how these volume sets will do.

Well we can't fault them for that. I was just remembering how they put out the complete series of M.A.S.K. (well, more like the complete first season) along with a volume set of the first few episodes. That volume set didn't sell too well, and that's why they didn't make more.

I still have to get Armada. I sold my two-volume Rhino release to have Shout! Factory's complete set.

Shout! Factory's release for Energon won't have any special features, and I'm sure Cybertron will be barebones as well. I've got the Paramount versions, but I might still want to get Shout! Factory's versions of the latter two on principle alone.

I'm mostly pumped for the Animated complete series release. Season 3, and everything else in one whole set.
