Dan, I am with you on the ketchup thing, man. For realz.
Another food services episode. Seems odd, but this series has yet to disappoint me.
Today @ 8:00 PM ET on The Hub
Dan protests his favorite restaurant after receiving bad service.

Dan, I am with you on the ketchup thing, man. For realz.
I so relate to Dan this time, I like plain burgers also, and have to go out of my way to let them I don't want cheese.
FYI, Dan might have a thing for that fast food girl, he was actully nice to her. That is rare for Dan to be nice to anyone.

Dan he reminds me of a couple of iconic characters in television, Al Bundy and George Costansa. All of them are stubbern and almost always lose.
I have to partly disagree: part of this show's appeal is just how often Dan wins. Yes, there's usually something at the end, but with the exception of Vs. Traffic, Dan typically completes his revenge.
And wow, this was different. Dan's plan didn't involve blowing stuff up, and he didn't completely repulse the girl by the end.

YOU GOT YOUR HEAD ALL TANGLED UP, BUT IF ONLY I COULD MAKE YOU CARE...
I guess you guys right, but this did remind me of Al chaining himself to a goalpost protesting the planned demololation of his high school football field, and George's battle over a parking space.
Anyway except for losing the girl, this comes close to a dominate victory. Dan completely owned Jeff, I guess if Dan was in his position he would have treated the customers the same way.
I'd like to throw in a famous toon to that list: Donald Duck. Though to be fair, I think that Dan and Donald tend to win more than Al and George.
Anyhoo, the 2nd half of this season has really been firing on firing on all cylinders it seems like. This gives Dan Vs. Dan a run for its money as my favorite episode so far. I liked how Dan's girlfriend (whose name I'm having trouble spelling) avoided most lovey-dovey cliches through the episode, some of the comments made at Chris were funny, and so was how twisted the Burger Phile manager was. This show continues to amaze me![]()

Amazing episode!! Definitely like one of my top 3 episodes from this show. I loved the escalation of the whole thing; and until the last like 10 minutes, Dan's revenge scheme was totally atypical--a peaceful protest, as opposed to explosions and/or murder. Subversions are always fun. I love how the cops thought Elise was Chris's nurse![]()
I have to say this episode is one where I totally sided with Dan, and I found him to be the most likeable out of all the episodes that have aired so far. I know the feeling of having my orders messed up all too well. Unlike Dan's last girlfriend, I think he liked Hortense more than he liked the girl in the "Barber" episode. I felt bad for Dan at the end. I enjoyed this episode overall, and it's one of my favorites of the series so far.
I think this is the first time one of Dan's revenge scheme's went relatively smoothly... i mean he was winning right after he chained himself up... Usually he either needs to go to great lengths to pull off his schemes or he finds that his early attempt get thwarted and its not until later that he finds a way to get his revenge... his rage usually goes up and down in his pursuit but here things went his way for most of the episode and thus he remained calm... Frankly i thought for a second there it was gonna turn out that Dan was not effecting business as people just ignored him, or that the manager would find a way to turn him into somekind of attraction and thus spear Dan to try something else.
With Hortense it seems like they have known each other for a while while the girl in the Barber episode was more of a spur of the moment thing. It was shown in an earlier episode that Dan was nicer Hortense then he is to most people.
Anyway one thing that helped Dan this time around was that he truely in the right the whole time. The Manager did not want to ruin his perfect record by admitting he might have screwed up. Dan simply wanted his order changed, but the Manager wouldn't do it and would not let Hortense do it ether.
Watched the episode of my DVR, probably one of my favorites in the series so far. I feel for yea Dan, we all have to deal with poor customer service at fast food restraunts at one time or another. And I agree, this time Dan was completly justified in his actions.

I was ready to give up on this show, but this was the best episode I've seen. Dan tackled thing that we can all relate too, he got the girl (sorta), and most importantly, I actually found it funny. It also helped that Chris didn't act like Dan's suffering stooge-of-a-friend, which I never really enjoyed.
Good stuff!

Oh bravo! Freaking loved this episode! Dan's going 'El Kabong' on the manager was pretty sweet!
Best quote "Say goodbye, walking sticks!" Absolutely love how he's so very ruthless!
For that matter, The ketchup joke was very clever! I've found myself saying similar things at drive-thru
personnel as well. Well played indeed, Dan!
The fact that Dan had a romantic interest only sweetened the plot, imo.
I always laugh during this show due to being so funny, but this time it was just so hard to stop laughing!
I love how they're getting away with being so dark in this series.
Bravo to the hub for giving the writers so much slack with letting the show realize it's full tv-pg potential.![]()

I walk with vengeance at my side and a bottle of gin in my hand.
I really enjoyed this episode. The manager seemed like a real jerk but strangely I found myself rooting for him just because I feel Dan is such a jerk sometimes though that is the point of his character I guess. I liked his interaction with the burger girl and some of the jokes the writers slipped in like "I like my burgers naked" or something along the lines of that. Him doing a peaceful protest instead of blowing things up was a real surprise though. Overall though, I thought it was merely an okay episode.
O.o the episode title is misleading but it was a funny episode
Hahaha! I won the game...
I'm the same way with ketchup packets. One is never enough.

No, really, we're all out of toilet paper in the men's room.
"Say goodbye, walking sticks!"
"No! I need them for walking!!"
Isn't it bad to spread water on a grease fire?
Dan looks at Hortense and says "naked." Very slick, Dan Vs., very slick.
All's fair in love and fast food.
Nice episode.
Congratulations, Hub. You've done something that ABC Family and the Hallmark Channel can't. You've put out an original series that my family values TV-hating self actually wants to watch.
