I don't think it's about that. Back when The Hub was Discovery Kids, they did this sort of thing all the time. IMHO, I don't think we should look to far into this. Any show can get any number of repeats at any given time.
It Airs at 6:30 AM 1:00 PM 6:00 PM And 12:00 AM
meaning they're making sure that you'll be able to catch it no matter when you tune in
my question is why?
none of they're other shows get this kind of love
so what makes them think Jem Deserves this kind of special treatment

Cartoons aren't "just for kids"...but they're not just for adults either. They're for everyone.
I don't know if it gets good ratings, they will keep airing it. Like I said before, I think the multiple timeslots is a way to find out what is the best time slot for it. Is it a little over exposure, that is up to you to decide, though it is has been off the air in the states for over 15 or 20 years, so why not? Though if you want to talk about overexposure, Johnny Test on Cartoon Network takes the cake.

They could just be gauging Jem's popularity to see wether or not the franchise is capable of holding it's own. If it does, it might mean the possibility of a new series/toyline.

Spoiler:
Also, don't forget that Jem was doing the "girl leads secret double life as a rock singer" concept long before Miley Cyrus put on that blonde wig and became Hannah Montana. And Hannah gets showings on Disney Channel several times a day, too, even after Miley put away that blonde wig...
"Legends never die. Networks kill them..."
"Crimefighters...don't cry...(HONK!)"
"あなたの弾丸は私に害を与えることができない。私の翼は鋼鉄の盾のようである!"
"This is my childhood. Don't mess with my childhood..."
"You just became part of a bigger universe. You just don't know it yet..."
i think they may be testing the waters so to speak, and seeing how people today would react to the original Jem. Maybe they are seeing if it would be worth reinventing or at least making new toys.
Anyways i don't think four airing in a twenty four hour period is really over kill. Not when one of those airings is midnight.
Agreed. I personally think that Hasbro is trying to see how 21st century young audiences will respond to Jem in order to determine whether or not it's worth the effort to relaunch/ reboot the franchise.
Keep in mind also that The Hub as yet doesn't have an East and West Coast feed, so the multiple airings of Jem are likely to make sure that everyone gets a chance to see the episodes.

i just think the show is incredibly outdated
when you watch it now
it reeks of the 80's
and a reboot would just be incredibly stupid
as it would just be like Lady Gaga The Animated series
the show might not be all that bad
but it's not something you'd want to do again
Every time I see Jem on the Hub I imagine there's a little girl somewhere that turns to her mother in bewildered confusion and ask many, many questions involving hair.
"Burning Man"? I think you mean "Burning Urethra" -- that place is a massive colony of venereal diseases being nurtured by their human servants. -zombie
Its also probably dirt cheap to air so its a great way to pad the schedule without too much expenses.
I think if they were to reboot Jem they would have to leave it in the 80s, play with the ridiculousness of that time period, ham it up a bit and play it self-parodying with the outrageous outfit, outdated tech and lingo. Like trying to put that era back into fashion. It would certainly help the franchise stand out from the rest of the pack.
"People who meddle with secret identities get their memories erased."

"You murdered your own alter ego? Sounds socially awkward."
The only downside to a revival would be the choice of animation style. I can't see this show looking in any way good if done in CGI or Flash.

Spoiler:
As far as a revivals go, a new cartoon series would be nice and interesting, I wonder what the cast would be like? If there is no Samantha Newark and Britta Phillips, than forget it.
But what I really want is a live action movie. I would have the movie be an adaption of the first five episodes. And if successful enough to get a sequel, have the sequel be an adaption of the Starbright arc. I guess we can talk more about that in the talkback thread.
One could easily make that same statement about Scooby Doo reeking of the 70s, or The Flintstones being basically being an animated Honeymooners or The Jetsons being an animated Blondie and both shows reeking of the 50s, respectively, and yet all 3 shows have had revivals, so why not revive Jem? All 80s fashion references aside, there will always be rock 'n' roll music and young girls who dream of being pop stars, so in that regard, Jem is universal and timeless. If Hasbro gets dollar signs in their eyes and thinks there's an audience that would be interested in watching a new Jem and are willing to pay money for the merchandise pertaining to it, they'll find a way to make it work.
As for implausibility, how is the premise Jem any less plausible than giant robots from outer space who can transform into vehicles or a queendom of talking pastel colored ponies?

If you think big '80s hair is strange then you must not have seen a single music video in the last 20 years. Or you'd have seen:
Gwen Stefani
Nicki Minaj
Pink
Rhianna
Katy Perry
Willow Smith
Lady Gaga
No way any of these ladies' hair is more "mainstream" than the entire cast of JEM! Considering all this evidence JEM is more valid and hip than ever before! And thats not even going into our celebrity driven/fame obsessed/everyone wants to be a rock star culture.
They seem to be doing this with all their shows really. The strange thing is they're airing it as if they would be airing a new series. Showing a few, and then repeating them, instead of just letting the 65 episodes play out.
Unlike Transformers which had a new series come out every few years from the Japan stuff to Beast Wars to Animated to Prime, and GI Joe, which eventually started doing the same thing, Jem was basically thrown into the Hasbro vault after it stopped airing regularly in the early 90s and forgotten about, outside of the ones who remembered it from before. So they probably figure it needs all the help it can get.
I don't know if they plan a revival though or if they just remembered they had it lying around and decided to throw it back into the mix to see what happens. I think trying to modernize it however will ruin its charm however.
No toon has ever had weirder hair than this guy:
Weird hair is the norm in cartoons.
I'm more concerned about the makeup.
I mean JEEZ LOUISE, did people really wear makeup like that back then?

Kassandra: Goddess of Awesome
I just wonder if they're going to play out all 65 episodes in one sitting, or divide it into three parts:
Episode 1 - 26: Holograms vs. Misfits
Episode 27 - 53: Raya and Jetta join the Holograms & Misfits
Episode 54 - 65: The Stingers arrive andSpoiler:
Or they could divide simply by stopping at the episodes where the show switches over to the 'Jem Girls' opening.
