An Introduction & Forum Rules Please Read
Welcome to toonzone’s latest forum: Huburbia. It is a place where we can discuss the animated programs that will be airing on The Hub, the Discovery-Hasbro network that will be launching on October 10th in place of Discovery Kids. You can learn more about which animated programs will be on the network by checking out www.nickandmore.com, but the network will be premiering a number of original animated programs based on their own properties, such as G.I. Joe Renegades and Transformers: Prime, in addition to a number of acquired programs. They will also be airing a variety of older animated programs from yesteryear.
I would like to remind people of the rules. Huburbia will enforce all of toonzone’s rules as are explained in the FAQ. However, people need to be aware of a few additional things if they intend to post here. Most important is that Huburbia is dedicated to The Hub’s animated programming. We don’t fully know their schedule yet, but based on everything that has been revealed so far, there will be plenty of animation. Discussion about their live-action programming is not allowed and should instead be posted in the Entertainment Board. Also…
Fantasy Schedules:
- Certain forums on toonzone have decided not to allow fantasy schedules to be posted. However, a thread has been created on Huburbia, The Fantasy Schedule & Fantasy Acquisition Thread, where people can post their fantasy schedules. You should not post fantasy schedules in any other thread, and before you post any fantasy schedules, you should read the guidelines in that thread’s first post.
Respect Other Forums:
- The Hub’s programming will be made up of both original and acquired programs. That means that some of its content could actually need to be discussed in another forum. Batman Beyond, for example, is a popular animated program that will be on The Hub, but discussion about that show belongs in the DC Animation Forum. It’s unlikely that such problems will arise too often, but it’s important to put relevant discussion where it belongs. To reiterate what I said earlier, any discussion about The Hub’s live-action programming belongs in the Entertainment Board.
Substance:
- While not actually a rule, please try to be as thoughtful with your posts as possible. As I mentioned above, the goal of a forum is to generate discussion, and when people put substantial thought into their posts, that discussion begins to flourish. Try to avoid posting one sentence replies whenever possible.
