It was in the video. The sneak peaks only concentrate on the animated shows.

I'm curious about the new My Little Pony animated series (don't laugh, I'm serious), primarily because of the involvement of Lauren Faust. It's kind of a shame that there are as yet no plans for a Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls animated series.

Don't feel bad. I'm a curious guy as well (I checked your public profile to confirm your gender). The few seconds of Flash animation shown in that video was better than most shows using Flash now. There was a little squashing and stretching going on when that pony with the cowboy hat yells "YEE HAW!". I will have to see if this is consistent. Until then, I will have to congratulate Lauren for successfully getting (so far) two guys interested in a My Little Pony show.

Sadly, there was nothing going on in that video that made me want to tune in and watch the network, that does not mean that I won't give it it's fair shake but there is nothing that is going to drag me in.

I already loved The Hub since it was first announced, but I love them even more now. Everything on their new site looks pretty awesome. I think a promising thing (for toonzone’s interest anyway) is that out of all the shows they have coming, they decided to showcase preview pages for 10 animated series, when the network has some pretty interesting live-action shows coming as well.

I’m looking forward to seeing many of The Hub’s shows, I’ll even give the preschool series a peek, but the new Transformers and G.I. Joe series do have my attention the most. I also love the way The Hub just surprised everyone by telling us in that preview video that Batman Beyond is coming, as it hasn’t been previously mentioned.

I also think it’s very interesting that The Hub is showcasing their press releases on their public site. Very open and honest and very cool, as most networks would hide them on a private site that’s only for the media.

10.10.10 can’t get here soon enough. Just 56 more days!

I can't wait for The Hub to launch. I had no idea they grabbed Batman Beyond though, nice to see it on TV again!

The series that intrigues me the most is Pound Puppies, if only because nobody really expected them to make another series based on that franchise and that I was the one who first discovered that it was being created in the first place. However, most of the other shows look interesting as well, particularly Twisted Whiskers. I loathed the 3D CG, as the storyboards looked so much better in comparison, but a segment of the series was legally online a while back and visually it was of surprisingly high quality, at least one you get past the character designs. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find it again. I believe it was on a production company’s website or something.

Make that three. I hope Lauren Faust's storytelling genius carries over to MLP, as I'm thoroughly convinced she was the true genius behind Foster's. Speaking of which, I wouldn't be surprised if Craig McCracken's next show comes to the Hub as well (he's been dropping some hints as of late on his dA account).

BTW, why isn't Dan Vs. on there? Isn't that a Hub Original cartoon?

I liked the clip in the video montage from Family Game Night where they play "Yahtzee Bowling".

Since the Hub channel is getting Batman Beyond from the Warner Bros. library, any chance the Hub could acquire to air other cartoon shows from the Warner Bros. library that can't even go to Cartoon Network or Boomerang? Like maybe Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, Histeria!, and/or Loonatics Unleashed?

I knew that it would only be a matter of time before you asked that, dth.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting to see Loonatics Unleashed anywhere on TV. LU was a bomb-a-saurus that Warner Brothers now uses as a template of what not to and how not to do it. Studios rarely showcase their failures. Both seasons of LU (as well as Animaniacs, Tiny Toons and Pinky & the Brain) are on DVD now. My advice: buy them and enjoy them.

Do you currently have the Discovery Kids channel? Because that's what the channel that The Hub will be replacing. If you get Discovery Kids, you'll get The Hub.

Does your cable box have the Discovery Kids channel? You probably will get it, as The Hub is slated to replace DK.

The My Little Pony series looks cute, and Lauren's involvement has me interested in it, too. Maybe if it's a hit, she'll pitch the Milky Way girls to the network. (Sad she made all those cute characters and that there's nowhere to showcase them.)

GI Joe: Renegades looks like it might be a hit for the net, but I'm not too crazy about the character designs or the A-Team vibes I'm getting from it.

Anyway, time will tell if any or all of those shows will be successful hits.

Count me as the 4th (or is it the 5th now?) guy who's interested in seeing the new My Little Pony series. I'm a fan of Lauren Faust and I think she can do good things with this franchise. It looks like we'll finally see some definitive Pony characters with actual identities and distinctions, something the MLP cast has always kind of lacked before.

It should also be interesting to see what happens with the new Pound Puppies show; hopefully the show will be able to escape the stigma of people constantly comparing it to the Hanna-Barbera version.

I'm also kind of curious about Dennis and Gnasher; as an American I've never actually seen Britain's Dennis the Menace, but I've heard things about it, so should make for unique viewing experience, though I've read that the current D&G has lightened up a bit from the way it was in the past.

This is just a rebranding of Discovery Kids right? If so I can not wait for it. It looks very promising.

Yes. Hasbro is taking the helm and revamping Discovery Kids into The Hub. The Hub will occupy the same air space that Discovery Kids currently occupies. Like when the Family Channel became Fox Family, then later ABC Family.

Kind of interesting how Batman Beyond is on The Hub, given who makes the toys for the DC Universe, and who owns half of the channel.

    *hint* It's Hasbro's largest competition.
