Tournament: Greatest. Character. Ever.

For the first one: Iron Man, because he's a great superhero. I enjoyed some episodes of the 90s cartoon. Willy Wonka has a nice mysteriousness about him, but I prefer Iron Man. Tony Stark's ordeal with his heart made for a great origin and his subsequent battles with foes like Mandarin and Fin Fang Foom make him a fun superhero.

For the second one: the Joker, because the Mark Hamill Joker is one of the greatest cartoon characters ever. Gleeful, demonic, crazy, hilarious and a joy to watch.

First match, I choose Santa Claus. I do love Black Manta, but I'm literally obsessed with Christmas, and I love Santa. Second match, both characters are overrated in my opinion. But I'll go with the Human Torch.

What a coincidence - I just saw Manta's episode of Young Justice about half an hour ago! And seriously, I have no idea why everyone loves him so much. Maybe it was just a lame portrayal, but he was really generic. So I'm going with Santy Claus!

And Torch, for the second. 'Cause I don't know who Slade is.

Human Torch- Because Slade's name is DEATHSTROKE! Besides, I never figured out his motivations, while I've actully enjoyed the Human Torch.

For the second one, pity vote for Slade. Human Torch is probably the better character overall, but Slade deserves SOME credit for being one of the most ruthless, menacing, creepy villains I've seen in a DC cartoon. Episodes like "Haunted" show exactly why he's deserving of a spot in this thread.

Here's what my next few picks are for this rounds

Obi-Wan Kenobi. One of my favorite characters since I was 8. Love this guy.

Sylvester. Love the Looney Tunes and hate Venom with a passion.

James Bond. It's James Bond. While not neccessarily a heroic figure, he's far more interesting than Poirot.

Han Solo. It's Han Solo.

Dracula. While not my favorite villain, if you asked me to pick the epitome of fictional evil, it would this......monster.

Goofy. A-YUP! GUHUHUHU! This has been a bad online impression of Goofy.

Um, Cartoon, Torch won the last match 5-3, not Slade. i assume that's what you meant to put

Obi-Wan: he was cool in the originals, and easily the best part of the prequels, one of few awesome characters in those movies

Sylvester: sufferin succotash, who would vote against sylvester?

I'll vote for Fred Flinstone. As cool as Obi Wan is, Star Wars can be represented by another character. Second round is tough, but Sylvester's a classic while Venom is just an evil-twin like character.
