What's the current policy on Long Threads?

Rate the avatar above you in Fun & Games is now on page 31. I thought we were shutting down threads @ 30.

I tried Starting a new thread to get people to move on over rather than force the mods to close it, but since as we all know, TZers have a hard time with self control, we now have wo avatar rating games going in F&G. With no mods in sight.

Yes, I've noticed this problem as well, and that first thread should be shut down.

We have some TZers who are posting in both the first 30(or more)page thread, that are also posting in the second one.

Perhaps a PM should be sent out to an F&G mod to let them know of the lack of maintenance.

The mods of the FG Boards get pretty swamped. Sometimes it is hard to basically wean people off from one thread to another. Guess they're just more comfortable with the original, but all it takes is locking the thread so they have no choice but to stick witht the new one!

I hate long threads anyway.

Its usually up to the moderator. I was told that when a thread reaches about 40 pages, you split it up, and make it into a "Part 2".
