    If I may broaden the discussion to include other sorts of events, this is what I get from what you are saying. Please correct me if I'm wrong:
    Announcements and discussions for events like fan conventions, trade shows, film festivals, and seminars should be posted to the forum appropriate for the topic of the event. (e.g. anime conventions go to the The WBC - General Animation Discussion board.) Multi-topic events, however, should be discussed in only one forum.

    Would this ever be construed as a prohibited commercial use of the forums? I wouldn't think so, but I understand how it could be interpreted that way.
