What are the little number-links for?

The ones at the top of the post that we read. They just showed up, and I can't really tell that they do anything.

Brian must be playing with the site again. He has fun doing that. I like them, it keeps track of the number of posts in a thread per post. I vote for keeping them.

They serve two purposes. First, they keep track of the number of posts in a thread. Second, if you click on it, it will take you to the exact address for that particular post (as opposed to the address for the entire thread).

OK. That's cool. I don't see having a need to use them personally, but I see your reason for having them. thanks for a great site!

I like the fact that it allows you to go to the direct addy for the post, not just the entire thread. That will come in handy when I link specific posts on other boards!
