Hey ho, Bird Boy directed me here for suggestions, I was unsure of how to go around this, if you have the time to consider this, now, next year, next decade, by all means, go ahead
Most of this comes from the recent 80's thread that opened up, I'm a little concerned that certain aspects of the 80s' are being neglected, there is so much history to be found in certain companies such as Ruby-Speres, and indeed, the topic of this subject, Filmation.
Filmation produced one of the greatest cartoons of that decade, He-Man, which also opened the doors for Paul Dini, J.M.S, Larry Ditillo, and other writers, Filmation also produced lesser appreciated series such as Bravestar and the original Ghostbusters based on the live action series, as well as the first animated interpretation of Flash Gordon
A site dedicated to covering Filmations' history and animated series would at least give some hope for future projects on cartoons affliated with that decade
Please consider this

CookieS is Toon Zone's lead graphic designer. You might want to get in touch with him. When I asked about a Nicktoons forum, they told me to search for a Nicktoons site that needed a host. Couldn't find one, so they made one (don't know what convinced them to, but it was probably good).
I'm sure that if you have a substantial amount of material, they'd be willing to help (but, I'm not completely sure).
Thanks, I'll consider it.Originally Posted by Toonmaster

I think CookieS may be busy enough as it is, but that's up to him if he's interested.
You may find other members with enthusiasm for the subject who may want to help out.

I'd be interested myself in knowing what it takes for a site to become hosted here. I think it has to be cartoon related, so your the right track so far.![]()
Otherwise, assemble good content and study how other hosted sites are put together and you should end up with a decent web site.
It's just that easy!
You know, with a ton of hard work and all.

Well, I've P.Me'd him, if he's too busy, it's fine, some of the sites don't have to be the flash quality of W.F, I want it to be more in the vein of the Scooby Doo Case Files, a pretty basic, but appealing background regardless.
With the Fridays website, and everything else he's got to do, I don't know if you'd want to ask this year, Zero-V.Originally Posted by Aquadementia

Woah, here I am trying to create a well researched Filmation site, and I've already found one
http://www.geocities.com/sshumsuper7...mationpage.htm
Keep in mind, it does'nt look very good, but the detail is there, I've had a freind contact the webmaster for possibility of allowing it to be hosted, and if he/she complies, I'll add my own work so far to it upon agrrement, if not, then the site will be helpful in my own Filmation project.
Well, CookieS got back to me, he wants to know if the site is up yet...well, I'm working on it now, and indeed, that Filmation site can't be used right now, the webmaster has yet to get back to me on possibly allowing it to be hosted. I'll have to go the other route
Good news, the webmaster of the linked Filmation site IS interested in having it hosted, he's currently hoping to update, and is intrigued about the extra hands I mentioned
