I noticed the Toonzone Store banner...

It's a pity that we have to consider Pokemon as part of the Toonzone agenda, but putting it in a banner with honest-to-God Warner characters?...It's where we are now, so whining won't make much of a difference, but I had to voice this complaint, if only so I could get it out.

    Sorry if I offended.

    Sincerely,

    John "Captain Caps" Kilduff

Actually, I quite love the banner. Jon, of CCF: TFS made it for TZ. Now, we're actually try to make some money so we can keep TZ going. No, we're not big fans of "Pokemon" but since it's related to Kids' WB! and it will help keep TZ going, I think it's fine.

I know you need to make money. I just thought that Pokemon, though it may be on Kids WB, is more like a b***ard stepchild then a bonafide WB toon. That's all I was saying, but never mind. I'll just shut up about this.

    Sincerely,

Trust me, we're not fans of "Pokemon," but the store will evidently sell the game, and is probably one of the more popular video games.

Well the banner showed a picture of one of the Pokemon video games, right? That's better than, for instance, a picture of a tape or DVD of the show. The video games, at least in my opinion, are really good...very different from the TV show...

    Ah-hah...

    Okay, understood.

I guess sometimes that sleeping with the enemy is your only choice.

Actually, I happen to enjoy the video game. Can't say the same for the show, but the game's okay in my book. Hardly sleeping with the enemy, as you put it.

Yes, the game itself isn't too shabby. I test drove "Stadium" at Wal-Mart for an hour. This from a guy who loathes games.

In my defense, I didn't add the pokemon game to disgrace Warner Bros. I added it to sell. Pokemon merchandise is still a good seller and Toon Zone needs money....web sites are not free. When I make banners I kind of look for a middle ground of artistic vision and purpose. If Pikachu can spare the bill for a month, then so be it.

I'm cool with the banner but as first I wondered a bit why there is no TTA in it especially with the new TTA games but then I noticed the TZ store does not have the new games, why?

Working on it. Colin is going through the store section now and updating things.
