News at the TTTP

This is just something I've had on my mind lately.

The regulars at the TTTP have all noticed that lately we have been getting some very useful news from people like GAK and bozo. While everyone else at the TTTP is aware of this news, there are a lot of people here at toonzone who might be interested in such news but don't read the TTTP regularly. I've been thinking that it might be a good thing if some of the news we get is posted at the news board. The introduction of I'm Popeye and new Toonheads eps. would fit into this category. I'm not sure how this would be done: Maybe one of the mods of TTTP could become a reporter or at least PM a reporter once we got some decent news. I just think that we get a lot of news that is interesting to fans who don't regularly visit TTTP and that it would be good to spread that news out to them.

I'm not sure if TTTP will get a whole lot of news flashes, but I think that it is good to spread the news that we do get. Especially in the case of stuff like new Toonheads eps., I'm Popeye, and Flintstones on the Rocks, which are woefully under-advertised.

I agree with you; that's a good idea. All mods are also reporters (in that they're able to post on the News board), so hopefully one of them will do that. If not, I suppose I can do it at some point.

I know that The Flintstones and I'm Popeye were both reported on the News Forum (I'm Popeye was actually reported twice by two different people... using the same CN press release ). I no longer post to the News Forum anymore, for reasons I won't get into. But I do try to spread the word of these news flashes on my Looney Tunes News Page.
