I use Netscape ...

Does anyone still use Netscape? I was looking through our server stats, and the number of people accessing our site with Netscape has been plummeting. In January 2000, 22% of our visitors used Netscape. In January 2001 that was down to 16%. In June 2001 it was down to 8%. For October 2001 it was 6%. It looks like a year from now, Netscape will have even less presence than Macs (which make up 3% of our visitors).

I use both. At home I use IE, but every once in a while I'll access Toon Zone from the university, and almost all their computers are Macs with Netscape browsers.
"Pinky, my parents...they're driving me insane!"
"Egad Brain, really? Ooh, well that kinda leaves me without much to do..."
I think you, Maxie Zeus, and Singin' Stray Cat's computer lab will make up our entire Netscape+Mac audience pretty soon. Not that any of this will affect anything we do here, but it's interesting to see the numbers.Originally posted by Jon Cooke

I use all four or five. I use a PC, Mac, IE, Netscape, and AOL.

I use Netscape through Linux,Windows and Mac.
I use IE through Windows and Mac
I use Voyager through Amiga (I'm probably the only one here that every so often views TZ with an Amiga)
Been awhile since I viewed TZ with the Dreamcast browser.
Hmmm I have an Acron A4 I could get it on the net and see what TZ looks like through it
A couple of the school's PCs have only Netscape so sometimes I use that to get here. And if I visit my parents' on the weekend, I use Netscape on their PC. But the overwhelming majority of my visits are from my dorm room and I use IE on my PC. I always keep both IE and Netscape on my computer in case something is wrong with IE. For example, for one of my homework assignments, Netscape ran the applet that I needed much better than IE. But IE is my browser of choice.
I think that Netscape really lost some quality when AOL bought it. I remember being very displeased with the new version after the merger, and I know that a lot of friends were too. I think that might have led to the decrease in Netscape use.
The majority of the time, I use Netscape.
One thing that has perplexed me is on the old boards, Netscape would lock up if I were to access an archive with really long threads (particularly the long ones found on the storyboard). Anyone else had that happen?
And yes, you can add me to the Mac+Netscape list, Brian. =)
Why Brain? What do we want to do tomorrow night? Throw a slumber party?
