1. Milkshake- Kelis. Why is it called that, anyway?
2. Hot in Here- Nelly. I preferred the parody about garbage.
I can't think of anything else.

"My mom died of cancer right in front of me. Did I cry? No. I ate her heart and became even manlier. Emotions are for those with tastebuds."- Strawberry Jam

1. Limp Bizkit - Faith
2. Limp Bizkit - Behind Blue Eyes
3. Sublime - Date Rape
4. Darryl Worley - Have You Forgotten?
5. Celine Dion - My Heart Will Go On
6. Avril Lavinge - Sk8rboi
7. Clay Aiken - Invisible
8. Blink-182 - Adam's Song
9. Baha Men - Who Let the Dogs Out
10. Reel Big Fish - Hungry Like the Wolf
#1, 2 and 10 are covers, and the groups that did them completely destroyed the songs...they deserve to be on the list. I would love to see Pete Townsend and George Michael beat Fred Durst senseless. Also, #3 will kill any party mood, #4 and 5 are annoying ballads, #7 has some of the worst lyrics I've heard, and #8 is Blink-182's attempt to be serious, which I think is a massive failure.
These songs are rather recent, but it suggests that some people today aren't really thinking when they write a song or decide to cover a song.
Be sure to catch 24 every Monday at 9pm Eastern on Fox (and 10pm Eastern on Global). Watch it, because you know you're brighter than Michael Irvin.
with me it's gotten to the point where I don't even listen tot he parody for fear of starting to like the original. Like Amish Paradise/ Gangsta's ParadiseOriginally Posted by alextoon

Am I the only one who hates that rap song that goes "Let's party like it's sha birthday." I don't know who sings it or what the name of it is, but it's annoying as hell.
everything that is rap and pop..
the one im hearing is the clash!
ROCK THE CASBAH!
ROCK THE CASBAH!
Wow, I feel like an old fogey now. Most of my "worst songs" titles date from the '70s, which I'm sure is more a reflection of my cluelessness regarding today's Top 40 than any lack of more recent bad songs.
1. Seasons in the Sun - Terry Jacks
2. Afternoon Delight - Starland Vocal Band
3. Escape (The Pina Colada Song) - Rupert Holmes
4. Billy, Don't Be a Hero - Bo Donaldson
5. The Girl Is Mine - Paul McCartney/Michael Jackson
6. Muskrat Love - Captian & Tennille
7. Lovin' You - Minnie Riperton
8. I Write the Songs - Barry Manilow
9. MacArthur Park - Richard Harris
10. Karma Chameleon - Culture Club
The ones I can think of-
Jennifer Lopez/Ja Rule "I'm Real"
Baha Men "Who Let the Dogs Out"
Just about everything from Kid Rock but in particular-
Kid Rock/Sheryl Crow "Picture"
Toby Keith "Courtesy of the Red White and Blue (The Angry American)"
Save Ferris "Come On Eileen" (probably the worst cover I've ever heard)
Limp Bizkit "Faith" (A close second to worst cover I've ever heard)
Kelis "Milkshake" (And I normally like her stuff, but this one's just plain annoying)
I shall post more when I think of them...

I typically try to erase or block all memory of songs I can't stand, but since we're doing this...
How about i just say
"all songs played on my local Hip-Hop radio station" (if you're gonna bother having a droning, monotonous beat, and you're not even gonna sing, at least try to talk with it, not act like it's not even there...) with the exception of Outkast (Shake it like a Polaroid Picture! hehe I love that line), which somtimes gets played... and I can't help myself, I love "Milkshake"... I think it's the video...
I also hate that Toby Keith song where he acts like a red neck.. no not every Toby Keith song, the one where he uses the amerian flag to wipe his ass...
and while we're at it, why not throw in Boy Bands... yeah, all of 'em.

It's funny, this thread made me realize something... I'm not a music haterI guess I'm really open-minded for this sort of thing (for most sorts of things actually!). There are some songs I dislike or I'm not interested in (rap, r&b, metal, britney kind of stuff) but I don't really hate them. There are some songs by Eminem, Linkin Park, Britney Spears or Justin Timberlake that I find rather lame, but funny to a certain extent, and I'm gonna enjoy listening to them briefly if I ever hear them on the radio. The only songs I might hate is when I hear a song I don't really like again and again and again on the radio! Then maybe I might start hating the song... but it wouldn't last long.
Moreover I think that's the only way anyone could hate any song by Coldplay. It's an incredible band, with a tremendous singer and some of the most beautiful melodies ever... but since their songs are broadcast so often on the radio, I can understand why someone might start hating them.
I one song that I hate more than any other song is Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock- Picture! Worst song ever concived!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also Skater Boy by Avril "I'm a poser but I don't want to admit it" Lavigne and Justin Timberlake'soverplayed Cry Me a River (telling deep details about his relationship with Britney really made me lose a lot of respect for him reguardless what she did to him). Well that's about it I'm very open minded when it comes to music. I like everything by everyone: Linkin Park, Britney, Sade, Coldplay... you name it.
