    Like This Thread!
After a two week hiatus the TNA talkback returns and TNA is in full gear this week with the Ultimate X2 match. If you didn't get to see the first Ultimate X then check out the highlight video.

    THE ULTIMATE X2

FOR THE X CHAMPIONSHIP : MICHAEL SHANE VS. LOW KI VS. CHRIS SABIN VS. THE FALLEN ANGEL
Watch highlights from the first Ultimate X >>>>>>http://http://www.nwatna.com/preview...1vid/test.html

Part Two of the one of the greatest matches in TNA history will take place this Wednesday as TNA presents Ultimate X2! Two giant steel mesh cables will cross 15 feet above the ring, where the X Championship will hang in the balance. The first superstar to bring it down to the ring in their possession will be declared the champion!

Michael Shane will put his gold on the line against Low Ki, Chris Sabin and The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels! Can Michael Shane become a two-time Ultimate X winner? Will Chris Sabin finally get his revenge from losing the first and reclaim his gold? Or, will Low Ki or The Fallen Angel become new champions? Without a doubt, all four superstars will be looking to take the Ultimate X to a new level!

AJ STYLES AND AMERICA'S MOST WANTED VS. ABYSS AND REDSHIRT SECURITY

For the first time in TNA, former NWA World Champion AJ Styles will team with America's Most Wanted in six man action! Their opponents will be the monster Abyss and TNA Management Consultant Don Callis' Redshirt Security of Northcutt and Legend! In recent weeks, both sides have been on a collision course. Styles and Abyss are no strangers, as they nearly annihilated each other a month ago, while AMW and the Redshirts recently engaged in a brutal showdown prior to the Holidays!

WILL JEFF JARRETT DEFEND THE NWA WORLD TITLE?

Thanks to power of attorney, Jeff Jarrett was able to escape a title defense against Sting. However, Director of Authority Erik Watts promised that Jarrett will be forced to defend the gold when TNA returns live! Only problem is, following the December 17 show the number-one contender is still uncertain! Can Watts force the NWA Board to make a decision, or will Jarrett and Callis continue to wield their power and get out of a defense?

RAVEN AND A MYSTERY PARTNER VS. JULIO AND CM PUNK

This Wednesday , Raven will seek to exact a revenge unlike any other. Raven's destiny of becoming NWA World Heavyweight Champion came to an end on
December 17 inside the giant steel cage when his former Gathering of Julio and CM Punk turned their backs on their former mentor!

Now, Raven has vowed to not only beat his former students - but annihilate them as well in tag team action! Joining Raven will be a special mystery partner, the identity of whom we have yet to learn! Are CM Punk and Julio in for hell on earth at the hands of Raven on January 7? Who will be the mystery partner? Tune in and find out!

3LIVE KRU DEBUTS THEIR NEW SINGLE!
    http://mms://nwatna.com/previews/2004/1/7/3lk.wma%20 <<<<<3LK's new single!

COMMENTS FROM THE ICON ROWDY RODDY PIPER!

NWA and TNA officials learned this past week that Roddy Piper will appear on the Wednesday, January 7 Pay-Per-View with some comments on his future in TNA! With the Rowdy Scotsman now back in TNA on a regular basis, who knows when - and where - Piper will appear! And based on past history, it won't be long until Piper and TNA Management Consultant Don Callis cross paths.

    MR. TNA AWARDED LIVE!

Also, Wednesday night January 7 will also feature the live ceremony of the MR. TNA AWARD, as voted by the fans recently on nwatna.com! It's come down to Jeff Jarrett, Raven and AJ Styles - and all three will be on hand to take home the achievement

    RUMORS/NEWS
    - ICP (Insane Clown Posse) will make their debut in TNA tonight. Im guessing it will be during the 3 Live Krew segment.

    - Rumors has it that The Outsiders (Kevin Nash & Scott Hall) will be reforming in TNA. Take this with a grain of salt though because nothing has been confirmed yet.

I am so pissed. My dumbass cable company, Cablevision, took away PPV from Analog customers yesterday. They did it without any notice, and I even previously ordered it two days ago. If I get charged for this I am so gonna tell them off. One time they even charged me 5 times for the same showing of the same movie and they refused to refund us for it. They said that special events will be available on another channel for us. But they don't consider NWA-TNA as a special event worthy enough.

Any way, I was so looking foward to tonights PPV. Now I have to rely on the results online and hear talkback from here and other sites.

    This sucks!

Im back with the TNA results. ICP didn't show up like they were expected to. Im guessing it had to do with scheduling issues.

As for Ultimate X.2 it was amazing, but I don't think it was as good as the first one. Still an very good match. Now without further aido here are the TNA results for this week.

btw, somethings are highlighted because I took this from Wrestlezone.com and they are all ads besides the 1wrestling.com link.

The following report was written by Buck Woodward of 1wrestling.com:

NWA: Total Nonstop Action for January 7th opened with a Mike Tenay promo about why cable theft is wrong.

A video package on recent events in TNA was shown, interspersed with Jeff Jarrett talking with someone named "Tom" on a cellphone. We then saw that Don Callis was bothering Goldylocks at the TNA Christmas Party, telling her that Erik Watts doesn't have the kind of money and power that he has. She seemed somewhat interested when he said he had more money than Watts.

Jeff Jarrett and Kid Kash were shown in a office, talking to "Tom" in a conference call. Their talk centered around the NWA Board and Watts' position as Director Of Authority. Tom is apparently his lawyer. They also discussed having a "big surprise".

They went live to the Asylum. 3 Live Kru debuted their new rap single.

The new opening for NWA: Total Nonstop Action aired.

Jeff Jarrett, Don Callis and Kid Kash came to the ring. Jarrett said he was part of Country Music Television history, since his attack of Toby Keith was included in a recent TV special. Jarrett said that since there was no number one contender, there would be no title defense tonight. Jarrett reiterated his mandate that every member of TNA needed to decide if they were with him, or against him. Jarrett said he would also win Mr. TNA later tonight. Jarrett said he wanted to know from Erik Watts if he was going to step down as Director Of Authority voluntarily, or if he was going to be forced out. Erik Watts and Goldylocks came to the ring. Don Callis said that they had done a background check, and that while Erik Watts is clean, members of the NWA board are dirty. Callis told Watts not to make a bad decision. Watts gave his decision, which was to not step down as Director Of Authority. Watts then ripped on Callis, Kash and Jarrett on the mic. Watts said that his New Year's resolution was that Jarrett would lose the NWA title this year. The feed cut out for a moment, as Jarrett said there was no number one contender. A masked man entered the ring, and stood behind Jarrett. The masked man tossed Jarrett from the ring, and started pounding him on the floor. Jarrett, Kash and Callis took off, as the masked man (who was almost as tall as Watts), Watts and Goldylocks stood triumphant in the ring.

A video package on Roddy Piper was shown. Piper talked about wrestling the Guerreros in Los Angeles, Buddy Rose in Portland, Ric Flair in North Carolin, and Buzz Sawyer, and how he did it all in the NWA. Piper said he owed everything to the NWA, and that was why he was fighting for them now.

Scott Hudson interviewed Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger. Swinger started talking about how annoyed they were about not having the tag titles. Glen Gilberti and David Young entered, saying they needed to win the belts for Jeff Jarrett. Diamond said they were going to win them for themselves. Gilberti said they were losing focus. Diamond said he lost focus the minute he brought David Young into the group. Gilberti said they were making excuses, and that if they failed, Gilberti would take things in their own hands.

Abyss & Red Shirt Security (Kevin Northcutt & Legend) vs. AJ Styles & America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris & James Storm). Storm started out with Legend, hitting a headscissors and a kick to the head. AMW whipped Styles into Legend for a lariat, then hit a double bulldog on him. Legend poked Styles in the eye, and tagged in Northcutt. We saw that Kid Kash was trying to get Sara the ticket lady to join with Jeff Jarrett, finally forcing her to sign with Jarrett. In the ring, Chris Harris hit a top rope dive on the Red Shirts. Styles took Abyss to the floor with a bodyscisssors. Northcutt whipped Storm with a belt. Storm was tossed to the floor, and whipped by Northcutt. The Red Shirts continued to work over Storm, who came back and tried for a DDT, but was given a backdrop into the turnbuckles by Northcutt. Abyss tagged in and avalanched Storm in the corner, then hit a press slam, but Harris broke up the pin. Legend went for a superplex on Storm, but Storm fought it off and hit a reverse tornado DDT. Storm made the hot tag to Harris, who went toe to toe with Northcutt, giving him a full nelson slam, then giving Legend a clothesline. Harris gave Abyss a Thesz press, but the match broke down, with Styles giving the Red Shirts a springboard dropkick. AMW clotheslined the Red Shirts to the floor, and Styles dove on both of them. AMW hit a flapjack on Abyss, but the Red Shirts tripped AMW and dragged them to the floor. The Red Shirts and AMW fought on the floor, and the referee was oblivious to Styles, who had Abyss pinned in the ring. AMW started whipping the Red Shirts with their own belts. In the ring, Styles flipped out of an Abyss suplex attempt, and hit an enzugiri. Styles went for the Styles Clash, but Jeff Jarrett ran in and hit Styles with the NWA title belt. Abyss then hit the Black Hole Slam on Styles for the pin in eight minutes. Winners: Abyss, Kevin Northcutt & Legend.

A video package on Trinity and her stuntwoman work was shown. A commercial for the Women of TNA calendar was worked into the package. Trinity said she wanted to be the number one female performer in the history of wrestling. Trinity was then shown accepting her TNA Babe of the Year award. Sonny Siaki interrupted, saying he was the one who helped her get that award.

Scott Hudson interviewed Trinity, who was interrupted by Sonny Siaki, who said he should be TNA Babe of the Year. Kid Kash interrupted, saying he had a "loyalty oath" to Jeff Jarrett that they wanted him to sign. Siaki said he wouldn't sign anything, and walked away. Trinity also walked off without signing, as Kash told her to "call me ... please?"

A clip of how Jeff Jarrett kept D'Lo Brown & AJ Styles from winning the Holiday Wishlist match was shown. As a result of that match, which was won by Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger, Swinger & Diamond were given their wish, a tag team title match.

NWA World Tag Team Champions 3 Live Kru (BG James & Ron Killings, with Konnan) vs. Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger. Konnan did his usual mic work before the match, including getting a pop for mentioning the Tennessee Titans. Diamond & Swinger attacked before the bell. Diamond worked over BG James, who came back with the dancing punches. Diamond came back with a superkick for a two count. Diamond & Swinger hit a sideslam/reverse DDT combo on James for a two count. Backstage, Elix Skipper was trying to convince Christopher Daniels to rejoin XXX, but Daniels would not hear of it. Diamond & Swinger worked over James in their corner, but James came back with a double clothesline and tagged in Killings. Killings hit Swinger with a powerslam and hit Diamond with a flying forearm. Killings hit an ax kick on Swinger. David Young came down to help Diamond. Konnan and Glen Gilberti fought on the floor, as did James and Swinger. Young accidentally clotheslined Diamond. Killings kicked Young from the ring and hit a gourdbuster on Diamond for the pin in five minutes. Winners: 3 Live Kru. Post match, Young yelled at Diamond and threw his shoe at him. Diamond jumped on Young and pounded him. Swinger held back Diamond, as Gilberti did the same with Young.

Kid Kash came down and started bothering Tiny, the timekeeper, to sign with Jeff Jarrett.

A video package of TNA stars wrestling in AAA in Mexico and IWA in Puerto Rico was shown.

Kid Kash forced Tiny the timekeeper to sign with Jarrett. Chris Vaughn and the TNA security came out and tried to get Kash to go to the back. Kash told Vaughn he needed to sign too, and shoved him.

Scott Hudson interviewed Raven. Raven wouldn't reveal his mystery partner for tonight, but said that Punk & Dinero would experience "Pay back" tonight.

Back in the ring, Kid Kash was now slapping Chris Vaughn in the ring for not signing with Jarrett. Kash cut a promo on Vaughn, saying he was a real athlete, while Vaughn was a child. Vaughn finally agreed to sign, but instead took the clipboard and hit Kash with it. Vaughn went at it with Kash, but Kash got the better of it, hitting a lariat. A referee came out to stop things, but Kash shoved the referee. The timekeeper rang the bell, and we have a match.

Chris Vaughn vs. Kid Kash. Kid Kash went for a sunset flip, but Vaughn sat on his chest and hit some punches. Kash floated over a suplex and hit a cradle suplex into a neckbreaker across the knee. Kash rubbed Vaughn's face in the mat. Don Harris came out and gave Kash a boot to the face, then a back suplex. The referee, since Kash had shoved him, pretended not to see anything, and Harris put Vaughn on top of Kash. The referee counted the pin. Winner: Chris Vaughn.

Scott Hudson interviewed CM Punk & Julio Dinero. They said that they were tired of riding on Raven's coattails, so they took away the one thing he wanted, a shot at the NWA Title. They said they didn't care about Raven's partner, and that they may have their own surprise for Raven.

A video history package on Raven and the Gathering was shown.

CM Punk & Julio Dinero vs. Raven & Sandman. Punk & Dinero, who have a new entrance video, came out first. Raven entered the ring, then Sandman appeared in the crowd, wearing a Raven T-Shirt, and came to the ring to team with Raven. Punk slapped Raven before the bell, and Raven responded with slaps to both opponents. Raven and Sandman then spit beer at their opponents to start the match. Sandman hit Dinero with a standing dropkick, and Raven teased a DDT on Punk, but he slid out to the floor. We saw that backstage, Skipper was trying to talk to Low Ki, who walked away. In the ring, Raven worked over Dinero, giving him a drop toe hold to set up a Sandman top rope legdrop. Sandman put Dinero over the top rope and gave him a guillotine legdrop. Sandman missed a slingshot legdrop, but kept on the offensive, slugging Dinero to the mat. Sandman missed a senton, and Punk tagged in, hitting a springboard dropkick. Punk worked over Sandman in his corner with boot scrapes. Dinero tagged in and hit a dropkick for two. Dinero hit a STO variation and tagged in Punk, who hit a top rope legdrop. Dinero got a tagged in and hit a moonsault, then Punk tagged in for a senton but missed. Sandman made the tag to Raven, who cleaned house with kneelifts. The referee got bumped as Raven whipped Punk into Dinero. Dinero ended up fighting with Sandman on the floor. A masked man in a black cloak (not the same masked man as earlier) came into the ring, and used an ether soaked towel on Raven. Punk then hit Raven with a DDT for the pin at the seven minute mark. Winners: CM Punk & Julio Dinero. Post-match, Sandman ran off Punk and Dinero with his cane. Punk and Dinero retreated to the rampway with the masked man, who revealed himself to be Father James Mitchell.

Scott Hudson interviewed X Division Champion Michael Shane, Shane Douglas and Traci. Michael Shane was overanxious for his match. Shane Douglas warned Michael Shane that the NWA was out to screw him, just like they held him down years ago. He said that was why the NWA had him wrestling three men tonight. Douglas told Michael Shane to let Low Ki and Christopher Daniels kill each other, so he just had to take care of Sabin.

Mike Tenay, Erik Watts and Goldylocks were in the ring to present the "Mr. TNA" award for 2003. Tenay explained that the voting started with Dusty Rhodes, Sting, Raven, AJ Styles and Jeff Jarrett, but that it had come down to Styles and Jarrett. Both men were shown in the back watching monitors. Jarrett apparently was organizing notes for an acceptance speech. Tenay acted like he was disappointed when the envelope was opened, then shouted out that Styles was the winner. AJ Styles came to the ring and was presented with a trophy. Styles said that 2003 was a great year for him, and thanked the fans for voting for him. Styles said in 2004, he wanted more, namely the NWA World Title. Jeff Jarrett came out with Don Callis, Abyss and the Red Shirts. Jarrett claimed he had a better record than Styles in 2003, and bragged about his accomplishments. Jarrett said that AJ Styles was a joke. Tenay said that the fans had spoken, and that AJ Styles was Mr. TNA. Tenay suggested that since both men had something the other wanted, they should settle it one-on-one, with the title belt being put on the line against the Mr. TNA trophy. Jarrett suggested a tag match for next week with Jarrett & Abyss vs. Erik Watts & AJ Styles. Jarrett said if Styles' team wins, he gets a title shot. But, if Jarrett's team wins, Watts gives up his job as Director of Authority. Before Watts could respond, Goldylocks accepted the challenge on his behalf.

The ad for the Girls of TNA calendar was shown. It was then announced that Glen Gilberti had requested that next week Simon Diamond wrestle David Young, with himself as the referee.

A video package on Ultimate X II, with comments from all participants, was shown.

Ultimate X II: X Division Champion Michael Shane vs. Chris Sabin vs. Low Ki vs. Christopher Daniels. The X Division Title belt was hung on an "X" formed by two cables, suspended across four poles (actually scaffolding) attached to the cornerposts. First person to grab the belt is the winner. The cables were noticeably higher this time, and were also wrapped in red tape. Sabin and Shane paired off at the bell, as did Low Ki and Daniels. Sabin hit a rana on Shane, but was tossed into the buckles. Low Ki kicked Daniels down, then Low Ki and Shane fought over the top rope and to the floor. Daniels chopped and headbutted Sabin. Daniels kicked Low Ki from the apron, and went for a moonsault, but Shane and Sabin caught Daniels in a Tarantual/camel clutch combo on the ropes, and Low Ki kicked Daniels. Shane and Low Ki fought on the floor, and Sabin dove over the top rope onto both of them. Sabin rammed Shane into the scaffolding. Daniels pulled out a table, while Shane grabbed a chair, but Sabin legdropped Shane into it as he slid in the ring. Shane came back though, and hit a chairshot. Daniels went to powerbomb Low Ki off the apron into the table, but Low Ki blocked it. They exchanged shots on the apron. Shane shoved Low Ki off the apron, but Low Ki jumped over the table. Daniels went for a springboard to grab the belt, but missed. Daniels climbed up, and started to go hand over hand on the cable, but Shane knocked him down with a chairshot. Shane stood on the chair, and jumped up, but couldn't reach the belt. Shane then climbed up, and started to go across the cable. Daniels got on the chair to stop him, but Shane let go of the cable and gave Daniels a rana to the mat. Low Ki tried to get in, but Shane knocked him back out of the ring. Shane got on the ropes, but Daniels knocked him from the ring as well. Daniels tried a running jump off the chair, but couldn't reach the belt. He went for it again, but Low Ki came in and hit a springboard kick on Daniels as he came off the chair. Low Ki was favoring his own leg as he got up. Low Ki went to stand on the top of the chair, but Sabin knocked him off with a enzugiri, using Daniels as a springboard. Low Ki and Daniels exchanged chops, then both men chopped Shane as he came towards them. Daniels and Low Ki double teamed Shane, with Low Ki putting Shane in the Hanging Dragon. Daniels went to climb across the cable, and Low Ki did as well. Low Ki kicked Daniels, and applied a Dragon Clutch while both men were on the cables. Low Ki dropped Daniels to the mat, but then Sabin knocked Low Ki down with a missile dropkick. Shane Douglas came down with a ladder, but Elix Skipper came down to fight him away. Sabin powerbombed Daniels into a chair. The referee got bumped. Shane bought the ladder into the ring, and Daniels dropkicked it into him. The announcers explained that a ladder could not be used to get the belt, and that was the only rule in Ultimate X. Shane set up the ladder and started to climb, but Daniels chased him and Rock Bottomed Shane off the ladder to the mat. Low Ki went for a Ki Krusher on Sabin, but Sabin escaped and stomped Low Ki to the mat. Sabin climbed the ladder, but Low Ki stopped him and gave him a German suplex off the ladder. Daniels rammed Shane and Low Ki in the gut with the ladder. Daniels hit a Rock Bottom on Low Ki, then hit the Best Moonsault Ever. Daniels then climbed the ladder, but Shane knocked him down. Daniels then knocked Shane off the ladder, then crotched him on it, as the ladder was leaning against the ropes. Daniels hit Sabin with an enzugiri. Daniels climbed the ladder, and Low Ki went up the other side. They battled on the ladder, and Shane shoved it over, sending Low Ki and Daniels over the top rope and to the floor. The referee came to, and took the ladder away from the center of the ring. NWA Security member Chris Vaughn came out and took the ladder away, while Shane complained to the referee. Shane went to climb the scaffolding, but Sabin sprung up, and kicked at Shane while hanging on the cable. Shane fell backwards, out of the ring and through the table that Daniels had set up on the floor during the early part of the match. Sabin then climbed across the cable, hand over hand, and grabbed the title belt. Sabin hung off the belt, which wouldn't drop, and had to bounce up and down on the belt before it would open and fall to the mat with Sabin at the fifteen minute mark. Winner and new X Division Champion: Chris Sabin. Sabin wins back the belt in the same style of match he lost it. Michael Shane was bleeding from the left shoulder as a result of falling through the table.

Backstage, Jeff Jarrett was on the phone with "Tom" talking about how his plan was working perfectly, and that they had Watts right where they wanted him to close the program.

    Next Week:
    - Jeff Jarrett & Abyss vs. AJ Styles & Erik Watts. If Styles & Watts win, Styles gets a World Title match. If Jarrett & Abyss win, Watts must step down as Director of Authority.
    - America's Most Wanted vs. The Red Shirt Security in a "Rawhide Whipping Match".
    - Simon Diamond vs. David Young, with Glen Gilberti as the referee.
