Former WCW Star La Parka Arrested & Jailed For Assault

Former WCW star La Parka and Luchadore Sergio Romo Jr. were arrested on Tuesday morning 12/23 for allegedly assaulting Emilio Guduz in a local bar named "El Dragon" the night before after working a show in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.

According to Guduz, Parka and Romo approached him for no reason and began insulting him. When he attempted to ignore them, they assaulted him, then left in a pickup truck with a third party. Guduz claimed he wasn't aware the pair were professional wrestlers at the time of the attack.

Once authorities learned the identities of Parka and Romo, they tracked the pair down and arrested them, having to "use force" on La Parka while Romo went without argument. Both wrestlers have been jailed while an inquiry into the incident is conducted.

Yeah, spending it in the hospital because of an assault by two people who harassed you for no reason.

knowing your fan fave is not just in jail , but in nuevo laredo, and you'd take the mexican bus to see him if they had visiting hours to give him your support in his time of crisis, if you only had, say, $40 bucks to go.

though whether they'd let american fans of luchadors to see their stars in mexican jails is still up in the air.

i blame diamond dallas page for screwing him up since he wore nwo tshirt even in jest and contributed to wcw's downfall. all nwo supporters should go to oblivion for their crime of murdering tradition. forever.

nuevo laredo is very near to me, btw. just incredibly hard to get to by even via the mexican bus lines, much less the american ones(have to reroute through san antonio going up to even the laredo america has, and leaving, why, there's not many buses doing that back to the rio grande valley that are convenient.)
