    Comic View

Anybody watch Comic View on BET?

    I do, occasionally.

It never fails to make me laugh.

The comedians on there are fresh and new, though many don't make it far (it doesn't matter to me! They still make me laugh!)

I've seen a FEW white comedians on there and they're funny, they don't use any sterotypes or sterotypical jokes. (NBC fans--beware! )

Anyways I was wondering if anyone else watches this show.

It airs 10:00 PM everyday on BET.

This season's host, J. Anthony Brown, is funny too.

He's the perfect host for that.

Anyways, I was bored and wanted to know if there are any other white people that watch BET.

Heh. Well I'm not white, but I watch BET, and..well, while it's probably one of the cheesiest networks ever, I like Comic View and watch it from time to time.

A few years ago, I saw a guy named Rickey Smiley (an old host, it seems) do his character Lil' Darryl a couple of times and he was hysterical! I don't watch the show regularly, but I'm glad I got to see him.

Occaisionally I catch it, I stopped watching for a while because I didnt like the rapid fire presentation where they show one performer for a few minutes and move on.

But comic view does get a lot of talent on air, with hilarious results.

The best ones are the anniversary episodes with a bunch of different clips on one subject.
Chris Thomas is on one of these, and he's my favorite guy on there. He did such bits as "But what about the baby?" and the five stages of, well, I can't say on here. Just...here's a quote..."Why are you doing this to me? Why are you trying to make me fall in love with you?" Both of these lines are done in his hilarious female voice.
The guy who dresses up like a hobo...he's funny to. But then every once in awhile, you see a white guy come out, and it throws everything outta whack for me.
