I love it when he rages against injustices... but somewhere he transforms from the man that can't take anymore... into something else.
There's a moment at the end where Michael Douglas is standing at the end of the pier facing off against the old cop who's been on his trail, and he says "I'm the bad guy. when did that Happen?"
As movies go it was a perfect moment. It was the moment where the realization hits that he's not an Avenger. He's not a Vigilante. He's just some guy who has gone nuts, and if not stopped, will do something worse than those he fought.
No matter just how many times I see this movie, it's still amazing. I'm always left wondering if the Writer and Director had degrees in Psycology.
I mean this is the ultimate movie where you Identify with the badguy. This is the Movie equivlent of Stockholm Syndrome.
So, to anyone who has seen this movie, what do you think of it?
I am like that guy in the movie!! I would do the same thing since I am known as Miss. Angst!!
