    Angel "Just Rewards" Talkback *Spoilers*

    Like This Thread!
Spike mysteriously materializes in Angel's office through the magic of an amulet, but no one, including Spike himself, understands the reason he has returned or why he is now a ghost. Meanwhile, Angel jeopardizes his own life when he tries to stop one of his evil clients from using human bodies as vessels for demon spirits.

I cant wait to see Spike's interaction with the Angel crew. Also, the explanation for his return should be intersting

Least we know now the Buffy finale happened 19 days before this ep of Angel...

Pretty good episode ,the dialogue between Spike and the Angel crew was hilarious !I'm still wondering if they're going to mention the fact that there are new slayers all over the world though.

I'm pretty sure the slayers will be mention since Buffy will drop by W&H sometime this season.

Better than last week's episode, but since I kind of disliked the season opener, that's not saying much. Lackluster all around, particularly with James Marsters' unconvincing acting in the first act. "Must... -pant- ...Buffy?" Yawn.

Favorite moment? Ben Edlund producer credit. Death by spoon. Not a coincidence, I'm sure. Lack of Eve is a good thing, as is the continuing trend of Fred in short skirts.

Overall? Passably okay, but I'm having trouble getting into this season.

I read a post on TWoP comparing Spike in this episode to Poochie from the Simpsons, and that is the most apt analogy ever.

I didn't enjoy this episode as much as "Conviction." I wasn't too impressed with the necromancer storyline and I found it predictable, which is never good for me because I generally see myself as clueless and not very good at guessing what's going to happen next, especially on a Joss Whedon show.

Other than that I did like the Spike interaction with everyone else, and I really liked how he followed Angel around "haunting" him. The arguing about Buffy I could have done without, but hey, I guess it's to be expected with two vamps who dislike each other and who love the same woman. Acting is good. David Boreanaz is doing a great job showing Angel irritated and uncomfortable in his surroundings (W&H and Spike ). Dialogue always top notch, and the action is superb so far this season. I'm loving all the flips Mike Massa is dishing out for Angel.

I just want to say that Spike is funny!

The idea of Spike haunting Angel forever is :anime:
However I am worried that Spike will fall in the abyss, that he mentioned at the end of the show.

I loved when angel and spike started talking about fair....

"..you spent 3 weeks moaning in a basement, and then you were fine"

    That was a great line.
I also like how angel "forgot to tell everyone that spike had a soul and that he saved the world.
I miss the good ol' days. Toon zone used to be really fun.

Not that i know anything officially but i don't think it's doing that well that WB would renew the contract. I don't even really like the new direction. But that's just a matter of opinion. I think they did great with last years arc, even though charisma's pregnacy kinda messed everything up. That's just my opinion though. I hope to see Dark Wes this season.....stupid law firm taking the action away from him.

Very funny if you ask me. I too thought it was hilarious how Angel seemd to leave out the little details like Spike & Buffy being together, Spike having a soul, Spike saving the world. Hahaha, not that important.

Okay ep all around. Nothing spectacular but I wasn't expecting any kinda major revelations. But I do hope Spike doesn't stay in Casper form for long. What good is he if he can't TOUCH anything?

    Good episode last night.

*Spike is the pefect choice for this show since it's looking like they need someone to bug Angel but also to add humor to the show since that seems to be the direction its going.

I liked it, i give it a B. Seems like Spike was just putting up a front, interesting to see him terrified. I can't wait to see how this plays out.

TV Guide and Variety have both recently reported that the WB has picked up a full season of "Angel" this year based on the good ratings (how good? I'm not sure, but it sounded positive) they got the last two weeks. WB had the option to cut "Angel" to 13 eps if the show had performed badly.

I hate to say this but I'm glad the WB put Angel after Smallville.

I just went to TheWB.com and read: "Angel" earned 3.7/6 last night
Which i heard was pretty good for wb standards.

I don't know, they managed to do a whole season about a villain who couldn't touch anything on Buffy.

I don't know what everyone's talking about. I loved this episode. Yeah, the necromancer stuff dragged a bit, but it all helped to show Spike's character to the Angel crew. And he was quite funny. I'm liking this new direction so far, and I can't wait to see what they've got cooked up once it starts really going.
