I'm sure if they could ask anything of you, it's to sit tight until Summer 2005. Go play with some toys or read a comic book. Enjoy yourself. It's not your place to worry. Let them work.

From what I have been reading it seems that Nolan seems to be staying within the Batman mythos, unlike Schumaker. I was wondering if (through fans sites) we create an open letter to Nolan/Goyer expressing our hopes and fears with regards to this upcoming movie. After the fiasco that was Batman & Robin I hope they realize this. But, I just don't know much about what their thoughts and plans for Bats. I am not even talking about the story. I am more talking about how they plan on the presentation of him. I fear neon batmobiles or nippled suits.
What are your opinions about the letter or what their plans are.
Thanks!

wuh oh
I'm willing to bet we'll never see nipples and neon lights in another Batman film again. Those are two things that always get chastized from the last movie, and I doubt they want to be any kind of associated with that.
"There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me; only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply... am not... there."
i'm with terminatah, let them do their job. they've already got big wigs breathing down their necks, and they seem to have a good handle on the project, so input from outside sources will just confuse and/or frustrate them, no matter how well intended.
"Pretty pathetic" - direct quote from ex-Disney CEO Michael Eisner describing the quality of Pixar's movies.

By the sounds of it so far, everything seems good, so I'm not going to bother writing any letters. But I will register my thoughts on the internet in the interim between now and 2005. It's my right as a fan.
As for the nipples and neon...ya know, I'm not against neon in the right places. But Schumacher occasionally did overdo it in his films. I don't want the movie to be so dark you can't see a dang thing, though, and that seems to be what some fans are calling for.I have faith in this director and his leading man, so this movie is finally starting to look up.
