    Angel Beats Buffy

    Like This Thread!
This week, the Angel TV series did something it has never done before. According to the NY Daily News, the program actually had more total viewers and key young-adult viewers this last Tuesday night than the episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on prior to Angel. Bet that's making the WB happy they kept the show. (Cinescape)

    velly intelesting

Seems like you hear a lot of folks saying they like Angel better than Buffy these days.

I read somewhere(I think Sci-fi.com) that some WB bigwig said Buffy had an eroding teen fan base. Did the news say anything about whether Buffy had fallen or Angel had risen?

    Good

I've been pretty disappointed with the show ever since Buffy went to college, and the 'de-fanging' of Spike, I thought, really killed a great villain. I've also found the cheeky dialogue not in the least amusing.

Hey! Where have you been? You're one of the ones from the old board that hasn't been posting much. Good to see you here!

I think why Angel did better was becuase of the show, and how it's more action oriented. Sorta of like BLADE meets ARMY OF DARKNESS in the current arc.
