I just finished watching this and now I know why I don't bother to tape it every week
-
I liked it, although it lacked a storyline that I wish was there. I enjoyed all the matches, glad seeing them wrestle at all, since they usually are on Smackdown, except Albert.
Of course, more lame jokes from Michael Cole that aren't even funny.
-
How can I complain? Look at the guys on this show:
Funaki (I don't care, I love his gimick)
The Hurricane
Billy Kidman
Tajiri
Orton
Great wrestlers you never see. Part of the reason I prefer Velocity. While you mainly see the cruiserweights, you see them in a variety (Singles, Tag, Big v. Small).
Plus, you see a changing roster (this week being Orton and Holly). Better than the constant wretlers you get on Smackdown with Taker, Brock, Eddy, Angle and Benoit. Not that I'm complaining, as they have great matches, but there's only so many ways to see a feud. They ran Angle/Benoit thin, but they still place them in matches against one another. Albeit how great the match will be, I just can't get into it.

i just hope velocity never has to resort to having its own 'general manager'.
maybe this is what wwe runs to replace wcw saturday night?
-
Velocity was as good as usual which may or may not be sayying something.
I still see a lot of potential in the character of Rev. D-Von if he would just be used more effectively. Beating Shannon Moore won't do too much for him.
If always tough when two of your favorites face off like I got with Billy Kidman vs. Randy Orton. They put on a great match, but I would've rather seen Billy win.
Hey Cole! People do watch RAW! Actually more people probably watch RAW because some still can't get UPN! Sometime I really hate that man.
Albert got a crowd reaction!! Sure they were telling him to "shave his back" but at least it's something.
The Hurricance doesn't look quite right with out his shirt on. The cape made him look like a kid playing dress-up. Even if he wore his newer T-shirt and then ripped it in 'super-hero' fashion it'd look better.
As always the Cruiserweight delivered with a great match and after all his years in WWE Crash Holly finally has a finishing move!

He does? What was it? I must have blinked

Yeah it was kind of a suplex-type move. Cole called it "The Crash Landing." Clever name really.

I don't know how I missed that. It wasn't too impressive was it? A lot of these new finishers are nothing to talk about. Such as John Cena's
