I feel really bad for her. I've seen a couple of her films and think that she is very talented, plus I love her honesty and her gothic public persona. I hope she bounces back quickly, Nicole Kidman-style.

In addition, I've heard a few rumors about Thorton having an affair. Doesn't he know that you don't cheat on a woman like Jolie? Especially one that has some of your blood? I'd watch my back, Billy Bob. Bad voodoo.

I think it's sad only because they just adopted a kid and then this happens. I feel bad for them both in a way but then again I'm so not surprised by this. They seemed such an odd couple. That man should not be allowed to get married. She was what, his 5th wife!? Sad.....

Like you said Karkull, who'd cheat on Angelina Jolie? Moreover, who'd cheat with Billy Bob Thorton? I don't know how many people know about his... "quirks"... but if it wern't for the fact that he's a movie star, he'd be in an Asylum. He's obsessive-compulsive right to the crazy extreme.

That's Hollywood marriages for you. These divorces happen more often than some people change underwear. This one, in particular, seemed destined to end up this way, no matter what was said about it.

If BBT did cheat on her, I have to wonder...umm What was he thinking? Many people, myself included, counted him lucky as heck getting to marry her in the first place...and he cheated on her? Geez.

There is precedent in Hollywood for this sort of thing...remember Hugh grant with the prostitute when he was with Elizabeth Hurley? What is with these people. Just when you think Hollywood can't get any more fake and superficial, something like this happens.

I'm sure we'll hear the usual spin-doctoring about this divorce...

This is bad, but my first thought when I heard this was, "I wonder how long before the tattooes are removed."

Seriously, though I feel bad for all three of them. Divorce is not a pleasant thing -- no matter how well, or poorly, it is handled. Jolie is a stellar woman, imho. I think she's a superb actress -- and she's a very unique and interesting woman -- who has a lot going for her. Most of all, I'm sad for the little boy, Maddox. It's never fun to be in the middle of things like this -- even though he's too young to truly understand it.

Can't say I didn't expect it, though -- such is the curse of Hollywood and fame, I s'pose.

Actors are headcases--they can never hold down a relationship, and most have trouble relating to people.

This reminds me of an episode of "Blind Date" I saw recently. The show hooked up this guy with a former sitcom actress (her show lasted about 2 seasons, forgot the name) and she was INSANE! Burping in front of her date and laughing about it, talking about some of the weirdest things...if she's an indication of what the typical actor really acts like...ohh brother.

I am amazed that this two-some couldn't make it. If They can't work thre is no hope for the world. Most Hollywood marriages don't work it is a wonder why they try anymore. Look at Kurt Russel and Goldi Hawn, they didn't marry and they have been together for about fifteen years.

It's sad but not entirely surprising. Though they did seem perfectly matched. How many other people would be willing to wear viles of blood around their necks?

I think Billy's going through a bit of a mid-life crisis if he's jealous of a baby. It's serve him right if he never found anyone again, but we all know that won't happen. He'll have some bimbo on his arm in time for the next awards show.

Angelina could do way better than some desicated old mummy like Billy Bob (although I do think he's a fine actor). Also, ahs anyone seen her baby? He's so cute it's sickening, and she seems completely devoted to him. IMHO, this is what happens when people in two completely opposite points in their lives start up an overly intense relationship. I mean, he already has three kids and four marriages. Obviuosly he has different priorities than a girl in her twenties. Plus, what kind of people can sustain such a disturbingly enamoured relationship?
