I taped this movie and just watched it a few minutes ago and it could have been the biggest waste of an hour and a half ever recorded onto film. I didn't catch when this movie was made but I think Marvel is green lighting a few too many projects. Knight Rider himself played Nick Fury and he had way too many cheese one liners. There was way too much over acting here. Why did I tape this movie? I don't even like Marvel comics.

i saw it when it first aired on FOX and the movie was crap. what i remember most about the movie is when hasselholf was in an action scene, the scene was moving faster than normal because hasselholf could not handle a fast pace action sequence on his own.

    LOL, who knew.

Yeah this movie was pretty bad from what I remember. I saw it on FOX a few years ago when it first aired. My interest was MORE than peaked because of how cool Nick Fury's appearance was on SpidermanTAS.

Now, the movie was bad, but the only part that stuck in my mind was that SHIELD HQ looked like a coffee table of some kind. Not very interesting or cool looking.

I remember that. I loved it!! But then again i was about 8 years old. S.H.E.I.LD. was ok. The one liners were very Nick Fury-esque but they may have over done it.Hasselhoff Looked pretty cool as fury. It was kinda cheesy but i enjoyed it. I really hope they do a Better version for the big screen i wish i had taped this.

    I saw this movie.

Could have been better, but it was fine for a TV movie.

I can't accept Nick Fury's character, though. It's too cheesy. The one-liners were there, but there was no charisma. Fury did not come off as a leader to me in the movie, it was like he wanted Viper to bite him so he could raid her camp later.

And I did not like Viper's characterization at all. The comics version was much more mature and in control. I'll admit she showed ruthlessness in shooting one of her agents, but that was it. Hydra has more dignity than this.

Overall, it wasn't a waste of my Saturday night. I want to see just how bad Generation X is....

    Later.

Same here. This movie seemed to attempt to ruin a great character...

And no, Generation X was not worse than this...

I about fell off the couch when I saw that this was being re-run. I thought the film had been burned and it's ashes shot out into space by now to destroy any evidance of it's existence....

Saw some of it - couldn't watch the whole thing. Call me superficial, but I couldn't see Hasselholf as Nick Fury. I couldn't even see him as Michael Knight - just David the Hasselholf, bad hammy actor extrodinaire.

Bad casting hits the comic world again.. - was this the last duff conversion before comicstofilms started an upward trend?

I enjoyed the Nick Fury film in the same way that I enjoy Batman and Robin.

It wasn't too bad. I actually enjoyed it to an extent. Then again I saw it at 3:30 in the morning and that was about a year and half ago so maybe I'm just not remembering it well.
