Repetitious actors' projects

I bring this up because of two reasons. One Adam Sandler's back with another flick that will spawn an additional film, (I'M POSITIVE) that will start with "Ms." or "Mrs." or quite possibly "Dr.".

A lot of actors seem to recycle the same character in different films: Pauly Shore (perpetual goof), Mike Myers (has used the Scottish accent in Austin Powers 2 and So I Married an Axe Murderer, and traces of it can be heard in Shrek), Eddie Murphy (wiseguy cop), or Sandra Bullock (understatedly pretty misfit).

Traces? That was all scottish accent.

I've never noticed it before. That's kind of weird, I wonder if they do that deliberately. I do notice that some actors do the same character in several movies. Bruce Willis doesn't though. He was different in almost all the movies you listed.
