I watched it up to the part where Seinfeld became The Cosby Show and Cheers' successor. However, I had to go to bed.
It was as excellent and fun as NBC's 75th Anniversery Special. Too Bad I did not have much tape so I could record it (I didn't).
Did anyone watch the special they did on NBC tonight? I was glad that they also highlighted other successful shows like Caroline in the City that of course didn't last as long as Friends, but hey 4 seasons is good. Of course I knew they would show Cheers and Seinfeld, but it was nice to see a little bit devoted to The Single Guy too.

I think Scooby-Doo is knida over-rated and all of the HB Dogs should be praised.
Wouldn't it be great if their could be more Peanuts specials on DVD?
It was just what my career needed - I was at the top and now I'm at the bottom.
-Halle Berry, after "winning" the Razzie Award for Worst Actress
All you missed was a long drawn out tribute to Hill Street Blues / LA Law / ER. Then they talked to Jonathan Silverman, Brooke Shields, Lea Thompson, and Kirstie Alley about The SIngle Guy, Suddenly Susan, Caroline in the City, and Veronica's Closet. They all commented on how they wanted to stay on Thursday but NBC moved them. Lea Thompson was still looking hot for however old she is.![]()
