I love MST3K. So sad it's no longer in production.
I used to watch it after school on CC. But then they dropped it. SCI-FI picked it up but for yrs I was w/o SCI-FI ntil my crappy cable provider made it standard.

Had I known movie rights would limit re-run possibilities, I would've recorded the old CC eps. I've got most of the SCI-Fi eps recorded. I'm missing one or two (Gorgo) because of the film rights issue, it wn't be re-aired ever.

You'll love this: the series finale featured Diabolic (pronounced italian Dee-a-Bah-Lick). It was hilarious because the summer before that, the Beastie Boys parodied this film in their "Body Movin'" video from Hello, Nasty.

I'll miss MST3K. SCI-FI still airs some eps on Sat morning 9am-11am. But this may be the last yr it airs.

    my fav SCI-FI eps are:
Riding With Death (starring the talented Ben Murphy)
    Hobgoblins (worst Gremlins-wannabe pic ever!!!)
    Time Chasers (not a Delorean but a time-travelling bi-plane)
The Final Sacrifice (Pride Warning:Canadians should not watch)
The Blood Waters of Dr. Z (cheesy monster costume)
The Phantom Planet (classic B-movie sci-fi from the 50's)
Parts: The Clonus Horror (adidas should sue!)
The Screaming Skull (more 50's sci-fi
Future War (for those who enjoy big chins and lots of plaid)
Final Justice (featuring our favorite punchline, Joe Don Baker)
Soultaker (cameos by Joel Robinson & TV's Frank)
The Space Children (Uncle Fester in tight, binding beach shorts)
Prince of Space (Japanese sci-fi from the 50s)
The Neptune Men (Prince of Space rip-off)
Quest of the Delta Knights (w/ David Warner aka Ra's al Ghul)
HAMLET (b&w drama produced for German television, fun!!!)

    and...
The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living And Became Mixed-Up Zombies (starring the clone of Nicolas Cage)

i can ramble on about mst3k

they even heckled some way out shorts, like Gumby and several educational shorts...like the Seattle World's Fair of '62. And the classic "Spring Fever" starring Coily, the Spring Sprite.

Yes, a wonderful show (what episodes are on DVD anyway?). Although I like the Joel episodes more than the Mike Nelson ones, I still like it.

Some of my favorites include: The Crash of the Moons, The Day The Earth Froze, and one that aired earlier this morning:

    SQUIRM.

    "Oh, Mr. Beardsley". LOL

And who can forget the delightful little imp Coily the Spring Sprite?

from what i've heard, channels over here in the UK have trouble picking up the rights to MST3K, sinse they also have to get permission from who owns the copyrights, etc of the movies MST3K featured

but from the few episodes i've seen, i thought it was good

If anyone told you I didn't love this show with all my heart, they lied.

I have too many favorites to pick just one! To friends and family I refer to it as "my robot show" and they know what I'm talking about. Too great. I'd love to hang out with them, since they're just as weird as I am

I didn't like the language in the "Prince of Space" one, but I did enjoy some of the quotes. "Oh no! They're going to drop giblets on us!!!"

My fav is probably Commando Cody, ("Think about it lady, you're in the lab!"), or Project Moonbase. ("What does it spell? WERNER! What does it mean? DEADLY!", or "It's the Werner Brothers!")

Ahh... MST3k... My first & greatest TV obsession. You can definitely get more info on it at Satellite News if you're new to it--it's the fanclub site. And if you like it, join the Info Club (the fanclub). It's free!

    OF COURSE I LOVE IT!!!

People, with the exception of a couple of you, you all talk about the Sci-Fi days.

    Go here: mst3k.dapcentral.com

Now you too can enjoy EVERY episode that has ever been on cable (if you buy the Rhino videos too ) The best part? At the end of every episode, they ENCOURAGE you to share every episode with the other MSTies around, so the DAP Archive of MST3K is basically approved by the people who made the show.

I own every downloadable episode from Season 1-Season 7 and im working on getting all the videos from that era as well. I really cant enjoy much of the Sci-Fi because of the cast changes (Trace Beaulieu gone, Bill Corbett as Crow, and Mary Jo Pehl as the villain) I prefer sticking to the Comedy Central era, which had one of the best ones of all time, the Godzilla vs Megalon episode 212. Perhaps the greatest ever, next to Manos and Pod People.

GO THERE AND ENJOY THE GREATNESS

    MST3K is the best!

But because of my lack of cable, I'm limited to only the episodes on tape...

Anyway, does anyone here do their own?
http://www.svancentral.org/svam has tons of them, as does Web Site #9 (the URL for which I can't recall right now, but it's linked from SVAM)
I'm on there as Blackjack Gabbiani, but some of the best ones are Jamielee Rocket, Megane 6.7, Jamie Jeans...ooh, there's so many of them!

One of the greatest achivements of man.
If you get put in solitary, it ****ing sucks. I was put in there just because they had me in double-lock maximum security, and it's the most tedious ****ing thing. I can't think of anything more boring. There's a Japanimation cartoon I've been trying to watch on Cartoon Network called Witch Hunter Robin, and that's almost as boring.
