You know, they'll stop showing it when everyone stps watching it...
That's right folks, it just got worse...(and I don't mean that in a good way) FOX has cast Ron Palillo ("Welcome Back, Kotter's" Horshack) and Dustin Diamond ("Saved By The Bell's" Screech) as opponents in its upcoming encore installment of "Celebrity Boxing."
The two actors join the existing match-ups of John Wayne Bobbitt vs. Joey Buttafuoco; William "The Refrigerator" Perry vs. Manute Bol; and Darva Conger vs. Olga Korbut that will compete on the show.
Palillo is best known for his portrayal of "Sweathog" Arnold Horshack on the popular sitcom "Welcome Back, Kotter" from 1975-1979. More recently, Palillo appeared as a recurring character on "Ellen."
Diamond, aka "Screech" in the long-running teen comedy series "Saved by the Bell" and its various spin-offs, made his mark on popular culture with his portrayal of the world's nerdiest high school student. Diamond most recently appeared in the feature films "Big Fat Liar" and "Made." In addition to his acting career, Diamond works as a stand-up comic.
Produced by Dick Clark, "Celebrity Boxing 2" will air on May 22 on FOX.
Once again, the bouts are:
John Wayne Bobbitt vs. Joey Buttafuoco
William "The Refrigerator" Perry vs. Manute Bol
Darva Conger vs. Olga Korbut
Ron Palillo vs. Dustin Diamond
Hmmm...Darva Conger...I guess this is her way to get her life "back to normal". Comments?

Jezz, and to think Fox hasen't already screwed up.
Personally, I would rather see them reunite the cast of Doogie Howser, MD (although it aired on ABC) than throw Neil Patrick Harris (though he's not in this one) in a ring with a bulldog equilvatent.
Fox, I'm begging you...
KEEP YOUR TASTEFUL AND SMART ENTERTAINMENT ON AND LAY OFF THE STUPID "REALITY SPECIALS"!!!!!!!!!!!
I think Scooby-Doo is knida over-rated and all of the HB Dogs should be praised.
Wouldn't it be great if their could be more Peanuts specials on DVD?
It was just what my career needed - I was at the top and now I'm at the bottom.

Ah yes Foxes never ending stream of crap countinues.
Let me out.
I think they should continue these fights. But I would make one change:
The loser of a Celebrity Boxing bout has to agree to permanently withdraw from public life. Never again can they give interviews or seek publicity in ANY way. They must move to a remote location and change their names. That way we will be spared hearing about their pathetic existence forevermore.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha hey that ain't a bad idea .
Let me out.
Just when you though they couldn't sink any lower......
"To be upset over what you don't have is to waste what you do have."
They can always sink lower trust me this is fox we're talikng about here just when you think they've hit rock bottom some moron throws them a shovel.![]()
Let me out.
Let me just that TMNT's return to Saturday is the ONLY reason I have not deleted Fox from my cable box, yet.
Celebrity boxing is basically permitting two has-beens to beat the tar out of each other because it is the only thing they have left to do. They can't work as an agent? A consultant? Take their millions and retire? They have to fight?! They are not boxers! Go home already! What's next?! Cher and Zsa Zsa in a bikini contest? The thrilla in Manilla becomes the Posedown in Chi-Town??!! This is sick and a waste of airtime. It's a waste of air, period.
(I would like to thank PTI for showing me how to rant intelligently)
til next time...
heh, one step closer to having a real Celebrity Deathmatch.
Just announced: John Wayne Bobbit was arrested for hitting his wife, and will not be in Celebrity Boxing. He is being replaced by former wrestler..... Joanie Laurer AKA Chyna.
I missed the first one, but I would of loved to see Vanilla Ice get beaten down. I might see this one; I'm not sure.
