    predictions on unbreakable 2

    Like This Thread!
if my some mirialce these 2 get made, what do you think will happen?

heres what i think:david will continue to develop his adnormal skills. i think in the movie will envolve more scenes where david will be protecting inocents and fighting evil janitors. i think it will be mainly about david having to cope with his new found abilities. we will most likely see david and his (former?)wife getting closer together again and most likely becoming a couple again. as for mr. glass.. i dont think he will play a big part in the second. he might be in a couple scenes but thats it. he will probably play a huge part in the third on though but thats for antoher thread....

where do you think unbreakable 2 will go?

If I were directing the sequel, Unbreakable Man would find a way to give powers to his wife and son, and you'd have Unbreakable Woman and Unbreakable Boy and they would be the Unbreakable Family! And Mr Glass will still be in prison, but he will mastermind a gang of evil teenagers to fight against the Unbreakable Family, and the gang will be known as the Cup Gang! And they will fight at first but join forces in the end to ward off the onslaught of the League of Janitors!

Ha! of course that wasn't serious. I honestly would have a hard time guessing what M Night would throw at us in a sequel. I am sure he would have to come to grips with his place in the world, and the power he posesses, and how that would affect his family and all, but as far as the actual plot? I would hope it wouldn't be the same kind of plot as last time, where he just does more of the same. Perhaps we could see a new level of his powers discovered and explored? And maybe Mr Glass would master mind something from prison, who knows, but I am sure it would't be the Cup boys, or whatever.

Perhaps as news of Bruce Willis' character gets out that he has these powers, other "superheroes" would come forth? I am sure M Night would handle it in a tasteful manner, and give an edge of reality to it.

I wouldn't count out a sequel. The movie did gross about $92 million domestically, which last time I checked, means a good haul. I think there's still a chance for a sequel, but it depends on the studio.

M Night wanted to make Unbreakable a trilogy. Anybody know if he revealed any plans for future installments of the series?

Nah, he wanted to keep the events a secret as long as there's a possibility for a sequel.

Has anybody approached M Night about a Unbreakable comic book series?

if some one did it they would have to stay on the same format. it would suck if they gave it to some one and they buttcherd it.

I think it would be better if Max Comics did it. Marvel is getting the top talent right now.

Stan Lee is a bad choice. His JUST IMAGINE has been a bit dissapointing. I think they should keep M. Night and throw in a great artist, someone like Alex Maleev or Steve Dillon even. SOmeone who can create a haunting atmosphere.

I am buying Just Imagine but I don't have much high hopes for it, to tell the truth. Stan Lee's best days of comics writing was in the 60's. He's still a powerful force, but nothing can beat the comics he did with Kirby and Ditko. It's like the Beatles, no band has been able to do what that band did. The 60's must have been an exciting time to live, I think.

Anyway, I have yet to get the first issue of Just Imagine (I got my comics today, but they are in the office of my apartment complex so I can't get then until monday, cuz I got off work after they closed) but if Stan Lee was doing this true to form, he would have gone back to the style that made him famous to begin with. It stirkes me more of a publicity stunt, IMO, one I want to check out , but a stunt nonetheless.

WHile your opinions are different from mine, here is what I thought fo JUST IMAGINE STAN LEE CREATING BATMAN:

    1. Cliched

    2. Predictable

    3. Bland.

I await yer review in the JL Board. We are getting a bit off topic here...

I was hoping to hear mildly entertaining at least. I'll let you know when I see it and decide for myself!

To tell the truth, I can't think of any great Stan Lee story since the 60's.
