What is going on here? No responses after 2 days?
After all the hype, Damien Sandow decides he doesn't want to compete against Derrick Bateman, who then gets fed to Ryback. I guess Sandow's of the attitude that he'll only compete against the upper tier. Yo, sometimes ya gotta learn to walk before you can run, pal. Taking the lazy way out isn't going to cut it.
No Johnny Toolbox, so Eve Torres, trying to be a Latina Julia Roberts, is acting GM for a night, and Teddy Long is still being treated like a tool. Real swift, uncreative. Not.
If I didn't know any better, I'd swear folks are starting to get behind Ryback. He will win the IC title before the year is out, trust me.
That said, Cody Rhodes is on notice. No more dodging potential challengers. The creative team is on notice to ensure there are challengers and title defenses on a more frequent basis. Rhodes had wasted what credibility he had the last time.
I guess Daniel Bryan was being jobbed out and will now be reassigned to Raw to set up his title match with CM Punk. If I'm Ricardo Rodriguez, I'd make sure I get paid for hazard duty vs. Sheamus.
Can we please get Layla some new theme music? The old LayCool theme needs to go. How about buying the rights to a certain Derek & the Dominoes song.......
Abraham Washington (screw this AW stuff) will not be much help in the long term to Epico & Primo. Meltzer says he's also "signed" Hunico & Camacho. To me, he's the love child of Stephen A. Smith & Spike Lee, with a side order of Tracy Morgan.
So Jack Swagger avoids jobbing to Brodus Clay again. Why?
Is it just me, or are people losing interest in watching wrestling on TV? The talkback threads are getting smaller & smaller, and with that being said, I guess there's no sense in asking if anyone wants to do talkbacks for ROH.
