A Del Toro Hulk film would be intriguing, but I doubt he'd be able to get around to making it.
I'd like the story to get back to TBN's Leader (pickle head, please) if possible. The actor needs some blockbuster-type exposure. And don't forget the moustache! (Yeah, I've made two moustache-related comments about comic films tonight. 'Tis coincidental, I swear.)
"...And then Rorschach goes 'BARNEY! My Pebbles!' or some such thing... but it was really funny."
Nice to Hulk/Ruffalo get some more movie love. Hopefully (since I believe the first 2 movies are technically in continuity) we'll get to see The Leader be the big bad in this one. Also, when asked about Hulk 3, Marvel isSounds like we'll probably get an A:EMH version of Hulk in this one then.pleasantly surprised by the phenomenal response. His [Hulk's] sales are up in a major way. We repositioned him from where he was always misunderstood to now depicting him in a more heroic and aspirational manner.
I wonder what they'll do. They could follow up on the Leader, but keep in mind that this movie would wind up getting released seven years after the 2008 movie. Would they really spend the time making a sequel to a movie that didn't exactly take off? I mean, yeah, the 2008 movie broke even and everything but it wasn't as big of a hit as Marvel wanted.
They ARE going to have to acknowledge some time has passed. That much is for sure. Liv Tyler is going to look a lot different in 2015 than she did in 2008 even with Hollywood "magic". She'll be 37 when this theoretical movie premieres. That's assuming they don't recast her.
I also wouldn't be thrilled if they went with the Red Hulk storyline.
Toonami viewer from: January 1st, 2003 to September 20, 2008, and April 1st, 2012-current.
I have begun offering my original YA novel for free: https://www.fictionpress.com/s/3167573/1/Nanomancers
What the heck is Red Hulk?
I think the movie could be about the Leader making himself an army with those samples he made at the university in the first movie, and escaping from whoever had him in custody (SHIELD or the US Army). They'd have to reel in a slightly bigger supporting cast, imo.
You'll never get credit for my discovery,Who's going to believe a talking head? Get a job in a sideshow*Herbert West*
Deadpool: They replace Megas XLR for this!? Man where’s the world coming to
I would like to see Doc Samson, Rick Jones, and the U Foes. It would be cool to get the cast of Fantastic Four (sans Evans) to play the U Foes.
I think this thread is a little premature. Nothing has been announced. There's nothing other than rumors to indicate this would happen either.
"This is true. This is real. This . . . Is . . . STRAIGHT EDGE."
Just to point this out, a comic tie-in to Avengers revealed that the Leader was taken into S.H.I.E.L.D. custody after the movie.
Now, I'd think it'd be cool to populate the first post with news links for all the movies and shows related to the MCU and links to ongoing threads. That'll take some time though...If anyone wants to pitch in, send me a PM. Could get a bit messy if everyone posts just links on this thread.
Is this thread for the "Paramount/Disney" movies only? Or for the entire "Marvel Universe" line of films?
If Sony refuses to give Spider-Man and the X-Men franchises back to Marvel, then maybe Sony should consider doing their own team-up movie! How about a "Spider-Man/X-Men" movie? That would be...unique.
And what studio has the rights to the Fantastic Four now? And Blade?
