No surprised here at all. Hopefully they put just as much heart into the next Muppets movie as they did the last one.

New Muppets TV show next please!

Glad they are making a sequel. But even then that nostalgia wave The Muppets had and was able to ride into theatres is going to be a tough act to follow. I think they should spend less money on the sequel just in the sense of laws of diminishing returns and what not. The Muppets was a $45 million but still only made $90 million domestically. Which is good but I mean this movie had a *HUGE* marketing campaign. I mean The Muppets were all over the place a few months ago. That costs money.

This topic has been dormant for quite a while, so let's fix that with the first promotional shots from the movie (spoiler-tagged due to size).

So Disney has confirmed that the movie will be titled "The Muppets, Again!"
As much as I loved the last movie, I'd much rather Disney remake The Muppet Show than make another movie.

Do you mean the release date? Disney is planning to release it March 21, 2014.

Also, I really liked the first movie. I'm hoping this one is just as good, or better.

Personally, I think that the Muppets was the best film of 2011.
Also, as of now, the film is competing with Fox's/DreamWorks Me & My Shadow (March 14th, most likely moved back a week) and Rio 2 (April 11th, 3 weeks after The Muppets...Again!), this film will most likely be the first Muppet movie to possibly make over $100 million in the states.
I can wait for the sequel!

New shot from the movie, with Tina Fey as a Soviet officer (not a Nazi) and Kermit (with a weird mole).

According to the press release, Kermit's supposed to have a doppleganger named Constantine, maybe that's him??
