It did. After months of working on a project and on the big day, getting such a flippant reaction...

And what's up with Don this season? This is the second time he's been portrayed as almost a lunatic. Last time you could chalk it up to a dream but the way he chased Megan made him look like some sort of slasher villain.
While not as bad as hiding the body under the bed, this is looking like a weird arc for Don. It's almost like psychological fallout for trying to change and be a better person. Don's subconscious ain't buying the change.

True, Bert may not say much but when he does it's rather important. "It is my business." was a great line and easily proved his point to Don.

Cooper always seems to get that one cool moment a season. Like his nonchalant handling of Pete's secret in season 1 only to use that as a weapon against Don in season 3. Cooper is the guy that no one takes seriously but the smart ones at least keep an eye on him as anyone who treats him as just an old kook does so at their own peril.

Also has anyone ever tried orange sherbert? If it really is like Megan describes it sounds gross.

Well, I haven't tried orange sherbert in the 60s... who knows what ingredients they used compared to now. If that's a good or bad thing... that's moot.

This episode should be re-titled "Sally Draper Grows Up."

Also, I would watch a spinoff of Roger and Sally teaming up and pulling off heists together.

I thoroughly enjoyed Pete demonstrating his job to Megan's father.

    "So how's the city"

    "dirty"

Geeze this show is brilliant. Mad men always gives you such a great lasting impression for the ending (the music certainly helps). Also the last dinner table scene was so picturesque (just like last week's episode where don looks at his employees walking by).

Married to Alison Brie and making love to Alexis Bledel...and why does Pete have a constant chip on his shoulder?

Not the best episode this season. But I love peggy's empowerment and she's obviously getting some great lines like the "pizzahouse" one and where she told don to shut up. Seriously, she's yelled at don and bickered with him but never said a commanding line like "shut up" to him.

Its funny how for practically 3 seasons don is off gallivanting with other women to get away from betty. Now poor don misses his mrs so much that he wishes she was with him at work and at home lol.

And what is with the foreshadowing ominous atmosphere. Theres the trumpet playing at the end of one of the previous eps and Don chasing megan through the apartment like one of them was gonna crack their head on some furniture or something. And also that episode that was murder themed. Now in this ep we see Don open an elevator that could have let someone plummet to their doom (why did he even click the elevator button?). Not to mention the fact it was raining.

I also loved Peggy's lines "Pizza House!" and her shut up line.

The part that cracked me up the most was the lady telling Don not to smoke and everyone was frozen and silent in place.

In terms of the bizarre imagery, I'm guessing Don is really "killing" off his past and moving forward with the new life he made with Megan.

Just wanna say AMC must have paid a pretty penny to get Tomorrow Never Knows. I was shocked to hear the Beatles on a show on AMC.

    Yep. They(meaning Lionsgate/AMC) paid about $250,000 for it: http://blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2012/...r-the-beatles/

Wow I don't think Betty has ever come across as more of a shrew as she did here. I'm glad she didn't get her way here and it was satisfying seeing her frustrated y hitting that cracker box. Is she going to do this from now on? Just find ways to scheme against Don's marriage.

Edit: Also beautiful women in Mad Men is the norm for the series but since I've had a thing for Alexis Bledel for 10 years seeing her that way was definitely a jaw dropping moment. Pete has some awesome dreams...hopefully not the last.

Sally finally got some pay back for her mother making them move because of Glen.

Who would have thought that the single most sexiest scene in all of Mad Men would involve Campbell
"Winter is coming." "Bango Skank was here." "The enemy gate is down" "Death is lighter than a feather, duty heavier than a mountain."

"Bet on the wrong horse, Betty. I jumped ship for nothing."

I can't imagine I'm the only one who read into that as either Betty probably then thinking she shouldn't have left Don or something.
