Murdockians unite!!! Happy birthday to Dwight Schultz

Happy Thanksgiving to all, but especially, a happy 64th birthday to Dwight Schultz, known from NBC's 80's hit action series, The A-Team, as H.M."Howling Mad" Murdock, the crackpot captain and pilot of the unit, known for many of his insane mannerisms and psychobabble about things, like his pet dog Socky, his invisible dog Billy and for constantly getting on B.A. Baracus'(Mr. T) nerves with his ongoing "jibber jabber". B.A. knows him as a "crazy fool", constantly says Murdock should have "a new brain" and more often than not tells him to "quit his jibber jabber". Dwight Schultz made H.M. Murdock one of TV's funniest and zaniest characters ever to be played in a TV action series. After The A-Team, he went on to Star Trek: The Next Generation as Lt. Reginald Barclay and has also been known for cartoon voice-overs. One of his non-cartoon voice-over jobs was in the TBS series, The Chimp Channel. All the same, happy birthday to Dwight Schultz.
Like it or not, I never apologize for being a fan of whomever they may be.

Whenever we played A-Team I would choose to be Murdock.
Of course I never told anyone we were playing A-Team, Murdock wouldn't have, so to all outwards appearances I was just making bizarre statements to fill spots in conversations where there was nothing constructive to be said.

It took a long time for me to even recognize him on ST:TNG, but he was my favorite Star Trek character since the originals. He was the one that acted the most like a real person.

I couldn't let this thread go by without mentioning that Mr. Schultz voiced Mung Daal on the late Cartoon Network series Chowder. Mung was one of my favorite characters on that show. Hard to believe that the wannabe Lothario cooking master was also 'Howlin' Mad' Murdock.

    Happy Birthday, Dwight Schultz.

Happy birthday, Lt. Barclay. Stay off the holodeck.

Schultz also did a pretty good VA job in Final Fantasy X. I won't say who, in case you want to guess.
