So the whole Robin is pregnant storyline is a cop out, I figured that there was a catch to her talking to the kids. If anything this may prove she isn't Barney's wife.

    Wow.
They guy who played Kumar, Alexis Denisof, Doug, Marshall and Lily's father's, Marshall's brothers. This episode was EPIC on continuity. Also, if Ted and Barney continue to be as cute together as they have been in the last few episodes I'm going to start shipping them.
I like the hints of Robin's career changing, and Lily and her father have a great bonding moment. The only thing that bothers me is how could Ted and Barney do what they did without a liquor license? I know this is fiction and all but there were so many legal issues with Ted's apartment being a bar it kind of took out of the episode a bit. Otherwise, great first episode of 2012.

It was an alright episode, Chris Elliot played his always creepy character well. I really feel though that this is the bridge episode to the final year and a half run of the show. I liked that future Ted mentioned that things change and that the groups friendship was the most important thing to everyone.

Re: the ending with Ted and Robin

Here's the deal, I'm the best there is. I wake up in the morning and I urinate excellence. And nobody can hang with my stuff. I'm just a big hairy American winning machine.

    I'm very humble, too.
