By the end of that clip she's in a perfect position to, she's got the weapons there.

Coulson's expression listening to the fight is priceless.

Meh. Saw Jason Statham do this on Killer Elite last year. But agreed, Coulson was priceless.

Well it's what those guys get for being incompetent and not tying her legs to the chair legs; it's really basic knowledge.
Joris: Your story makes me want to have a little brother, Papycha. Isn't that weird?
Kerubim: Don't worry, Jojo. You have your whole life to meet new brothers. Some you will choose, others will ruin your life, and others still will make it worth living...

Yup, this scene's got the feeling of Joss Whedon all over it. I feel like I've seen this in about a dozen other films in the last ten years.

Yep, but never with that Whedonesque flair.

Like what? KILLER ELITE and I think one of the CHARLIE'S ANGELS movies are the only ones that come to mind.
Not it will most likely do any good, but I encourage any interested parties to sign this petition.

I wasn't even talking about "escaping from being tied to a chair." I was talking about "acrobatic improvised girl martial arts fighting with quippy humorous elements." No one can say Whedon isn't known for that. Heck, Buffy's stunt doubles were more talented than Scarjo's here. There was a funny Whedon trademark in here from Buffy episodes, too, the point where you can clearly tell the girl fighting is not the lead actress but they just let it roll anyway.

Finally. Makes sense why no one could I.D. them since I don't think they ever revealed their true form (or even have one) in the comics.

This is very much a different version of them re-appropriated for this movie. Not at all like their Ultimates versions.

Also I saw the movie yesterday. Kevin Feige, Joss Whedon, Chris Hemsworth, Clark Gregg, Tom Hiddleston, and Cobie Smulders all made an appearance there.

    I was there!
