Best Superhero Film So Far This Year

    Like This Thread!
So far we've already had 5 superhero films this year: The Green Hornet, Thor, X-Men: First Class, Green Lantern, and Captain America: The First Avenger. Which do you think was the best so far and why?

What do you mean "so far"? It's not like there are any more coming this year. Personally I've enjoyed them all. Except Green Hornet. Was never interested in seeing that one. X-Men was probably my favorite though.

Batman: I suppose it's useless to tell you to leave.
Superman: I wouldn't miss this for anything.
    Batman: Your funeral.
    Superman: Already had one.

X-Men: First Class was easily the best comic book movie of the summer even if its rushed production did seem obvious upon watching it a second time. It was entertaining and never boring. It had great actors, perfect chemistry between Xavier and Eric, and a very satisfying story. Second place goes to Captain America which I really enjoyed but found the finale lacking abit and the story rushed. After that is Green Lantern and then Thor (which was better than Green Lantern but I enjoyed GL over Thor). Cowboys & Aliens (it actually is a comic book movie) was nothing special and worth a watch once but I doubt I'll buy the Blu-ray like the four above movies. The Green Hornet wasn't that enjoyable to me so I'll put that in last place.

There is still Conan to go for comic book movies and I thought Tintin was a comic book movie, too (or is it just the book series I remember reading as a kid).

I've only seen two of them, X-Men: First Class and Captain America. I think I'd say X-Men is my favorite because I thought it was a solid film through and through. I did like Captain America, but thought it had a few flaws, so I'd rank it second. I missed out on Green Lantern and will have to catch it on DVD, but Thor and (especially) Green Hornet I had no interest in.
