Metal Fight Beyblade X Duel Masters: Universal Star 3D Live Action Movie Announced

In the latest Coro Coro Magazine (literally, Super Awesome Child Magazine) it has been announced that Takara Tomy and Toho plan on launching a new live action Duel Masters and Metal Fight Beyblade crossover movie this summer. Reportedly the film is set to star Kenichi Matsuyama as new protagonist Charles Rodin representing the Duel Masters franchise, and Tatsuya Fujiwara as Takao Granger representing the Beyblade series. Unlike previous incarnations of both franchises, this movie is reportedly supposed to take a more tokusatsu vibe as Charles and Takao attempt to save the world from a mysterious organization called Big BANDI.

There will apparently be a manga version of the film given to patrons when exiting, alongside a special Beyblade and Duel Master trading card.

Who knew that they would bring Bakugan, One Piece AND Zatch Bell into this? I mean, Luffy and Drago's ice attack on Charizard was already devastating enough.

I think you're forgetting the best part of the movie, the various scenes of spot Zed. Yes, while watching the movie you have to figure out if the villains are being released by the Duel Masters or if the mysterious Zed is actually throwing out his own creatures and making it look like the Duel Masters are the cause. Since the heros overlook Zed as being a homeless hobo and he is kept in the free world, in could mean a sequel is already in the works. I can't wait to see how he uses Amil Gaoul if the sequel rumors are true. Those bladers won't know what hit them when those marbles of the shard casters start falling on their arenas and possibly busting up those bitbeasts. Why on Earth they ever trusted these eyes I'll never know.
