I read about that ending at Dark Horizons. It reminded me of the end of that "Animaniacs" episode, "Chalkboard Bungle".
As promised as I stated in the weekend box office thread, here is the link to the Cats and Dogs alternate ending. As someone who has seen this movie, I think I like the alternate one, though it wouldn't have by far saved the entire movie. I liked with a few reserves. Anyways, enjoy!

That ending sounds great! Esspecially since I`m a major cat person (i`m rather bitter about how dogs are always portrayed as the heroes and cats are always "evil")
If that was the ending they used,I would have wanted to see it :P

I'm more of a dog person than a cat person, but either ending would've been fine. The alternate ending seems to pave the way for a sequel more than the fone they have now.
