Very glad to see True Grit doing so well.
Looks like Narnia may be able to juuust cross that $100 million mark after all.
Tron has officially broken even and will turn a profit. Sorry CyclonatorZ.Originally Posted by Deadline.com
While I liked Black Swan more than True Grit, I'm glad that a film that's going for some award cred has taken down a film that has been declared one of the worst films of the past year.
With the up and down percentage rating for Season of the Witch on rottentomatoes.com, I guess that it'll go down rapidly from the top half of the Top 10/12 to the bottom and off the roster altogether based on a LOT of negative reviews.
I hope that I don't regret spending money on The Green Hornet if I decide to see it on Friday morning.
I don't need a signature. I'm too cool for one. LOL
Wow, I can't remember if a Western has EVER grossed over $100 million at the box office (the anachronistic -- and awful -- Wild Wild West doesn't count).I hope the success of True Grit will inspire more Westerns to be produced for the big screen.
Wait...Dances With Wolves (and Unforgiven...?). But still, those films are two decades in the past.
