I saw it, and it was AWESOME!!!! The gags, the writing, and the music was great!
Chuck Jones would have been proud of Coyote Falls.
.....Oh wait, is this the Cats and Dogs 2 thread? Oh yeah, about that, I left after Coyote Falls ended, got my money back also.![]()
Nothing to say.
To be honest, Revenge of Kitty Galore isn't a true sequel to Cats & Dogs; it's just another story that takes place in the same universe as the former. Based on what I've seen, none of the characters from the 1st Cats & Dogs appear in this film and none of the events of the previous film are referenced.
Nah, Mr. Tinkles, the villainous cat from the first film, returns to help Kitty Galore. Looks like Lou, Butch, Calico, and some others appear, too. I know that for Lou and Butch, it's nothing major, but they help set off a chain of events or something.
I haven't seen the movie and don't intend to, but that's what the cast list and plot summary says. So, it is a sequel.
Speaking of the cast list. There seems to be more professional Voice actors in the film. Especially compared to to the first film where there was at least three/four in there (three in voice roles, while the guy who played Demolisher in Transformers Armada made a live action cameo)
The voice cast in the sequel is huge in comparison and apparently, (I'm going by IMDb here) Jeff Bennett has a live action appearance. Confirm? I haven't seen the movie and possibly won't either.
But yeah, Just thought I'd point that out.
Wow, why doesn't anyone want to see this movie? Is it embarrasing to watch in theatres or something?![]()
Just a suggestion brought about by the fact that is nearly a page deep and no one who has posted here has watched it or plans to.
Sometimes I really have to question the wisdom of making talkback threads for movies that no one on Toonzone is likely to watch. I think that for things that are going to draw surefire interest, like Transformers 3, it doesn't matter who makes them, but for things like this it might be better if the threads were started by someone who intends to see it. I think sometimes I get the feeling that people think there's some kind of status associated with grabbing the talkback for a popular film, but when it gets as far as making talkbacks about things no one is actually going to talk about it's a little ridiculous.
Yeah I don't think the creator this thread has realized people have gone on record at this forum saying that they have desire whatsoever to see this movie due to its sheer stupidity/representation of the end of civilization. The box office speaks for itself.
My philosophy is that I only do talkbacks for films I want to see or like outright with the occasional exception ("Battlefield Earth" was a combination of practical joke/controlled social experiment). We're past the days of The Load here.Sometimes I really have to question the wisdom of making talkback threads for movies that no one on Toonzone is likely to watch. Well with me, it's a matter of that I can't see it. You see, I normally go to the movies with someone else. And the person I normally go with can't get in for free anymore. So I have to print off a card to get back into the movies without paying for the both of us.
Besides, I liked the first film.
Christ I saw the first Cats and Dogs in the theater when I was 5 or 6.

I went and see it--only because it was "$1 Candy Monday" at the nearest Regal Theatre and figured it was short enough to go back home and watch Monday Night Raw roughly on time. Should've walked out because I missed about 20 minutes of that.
I only had two things to say about the movie:
+ I didn't knew that the new Road Runner short was before it, which was nice. Best part of the whole experience. Just wished they didn't made Wile E. so detailed though.
+I was going through my mind whether it was better or worse than "The Last Airbender". Well, it made me wince in parts while TLA didn't had me feel anything. So I guess "better".
Also, the only people besides me watching was a family of three. Humiliating. TLA slightly had more butts in their seats when I saw it.
